Good selection at reasonable prices – helpful and refreshingly unpretentious staff. Worth a visit for Village dwellers who don't want to brave Trader Joe's wine shop.
They've got a small shop here, always the same two gents sitting back behind the register. An okay selection for those people who live close to the area and don't want to walk over to the bigger shops on 14th.
My quirk with this store – there's the big fuzzy black Jindo Korean dog here sometimes. I'm not sure that's kosher, but then again you're not eating here — just to warn people.
I found this place to be a little pretentious. Not once did someone ask if I needed help with anything, which, to me, made it feel like they didn't even care if I was there.
They set up a nice area that divides wines up by under $10 and under $20. I'd say overall, though, their wines are definitely over $10.
