Providencia Kennan
Maybe it was due to the 4 hours of sleep I got the night before trying this place, or maybe it was the 2 hour drive to the airport in AM NYC traffic but I didn't find this place to be as horrible as others who reviewed it. Granted it's definitely not my go to spot at JFK, but in my opinion it was a fairly feasible option. Plus I wasn't there at a super busy time.
Cons: The line was relatively long when I arrived and it's seemed like there were limited people working. But, I was in line behind a pilot and the girl at the counter quickly hurried up when he came into view, which was great. The price was incredibly high for a flat white and it wasn't nearly as good as the flat white from Starbucks. I think it was like a $5 small drink, I could have paid less at Starbucks. There was relatively no customer service – no one said anything other than "what do you want?"
Pros: the vibe in this place is cool. I would sit in here if I had a delayed flight or if I had to wait and do some work. There were a lot of options for drinks and food regardless of high prices. It's one of the only boutique coffee spots in this terminal so if you want something beyond a McDonald's or a Dunkin Donuts and don't mind spending the money it could be worth a try.
I ordered a medium latte and it cost over $5. Which would've been fine, except it tasted really bland. It was like drinking heated milk! The atmosphere is nice there though, nice in the sense that they have couches.
Airport coffee spot do you probably know what you're in for. I stopped here just to try something other than Starbucks. The setup is clean and product easy to find. The service was transactional at best, low to no enthusiasm.
No thanks. This place is way overpriced and the food is not at all good. I understand the choices are limited but don't feel the need to overcharge people especially when the food is pretty bad. I had a granola parfait and their was such a small amount of granola I felt as if they should of sold me just yogurt. Oh and for $7…come on now.
Also, ordered a pastry and nope not good also. The coffee was also pretty bad. It's sad that after this place I had to walk over to McDonalds to fufill my hunger because this place failed.

Skip it and look for other options.
