Great wine store on UES. Nice staff, good prices, friendly staff. They have weekly wine tastings and a decent website. Store is open late too. Will deliver locally. Used to love their bulldog who sadly passed away a few years ago. He was always there greeting customers.
They have Yamazaki 18 which I've had trouble finding in the CIty. The price is actually very fair ($135) and I believe it to be as close to market value as you'll find anywhere in the City. The rest of their single malt collection is pretty standard. They have more than your average wine & spirits store, but their selection doesn't beat other UWS stalwarts like 67 Wines or Beacon.
The big draw here for me is the famed Yamazaki 18, I just have to find the right occasion to justify buying a bottle!
This place is well stocked with wine, spirits and champagne. Been here a few times, reasonably priced (but i have to say yorkville is a little cheaper), and a great selection.
They have a fridge at the back stocked with chilled wine/champagne, easy if you don't want to wait to pop that bottle!
