It's a solid liquor store with a good selection of liquors. They also have in stock a small section of sake and soju. The selection of Sake and Soju are probably the most popular brands and those are priced well.
As for the other prices – everything seemed standard -nothing crazy expensive, but nothing cheap. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes down to being confused as to buy this vs that. Or what kind of wine is good with this or that.
Will i come here again? Most definitely.
I wasn't sure if I would ever describe a liquor store outside of the airport clean, bright, and spacious but Liquor Locker is indeed clean, bright, and relatively spacious. I usually like to come here to buy a bottle of cold moscato or roscato from their fridge. The last time I was here, I also picked up a bottle of Frangelico. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and gave some fun tips on how to drink (or eat) with the liqueur.
Nice local liquor store. Open Sundays, which is a plus. Wide variety of wines and liquors.
We were visiting from out of town and needed to pick up a few things prior to a party. Normally, I wouldn't feel compelled to write a review for a liquor store, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their selection is pretty diverse and prices seem competitive. I know there are a lot of liquor stores in the area, but compared to my local shop their prices were quite good. The store was really clean and service was actually attentive and they offered some insight into the liquor I was looking into. I have a limited knowledge of wines and it was nice to get a little education while looking for the right gift. Actually, one of the cabernets they suggested was delicious! So, if you are in the area, or live close by, check them out.. totally makes the alcohol buying experience actually kind of nice.
I was just in Flushing for a few weeks and needed some drinks to stock the apartment with. This is where we just happened to stop the first day, but everyone working there was so friendly and helpful and the selection and prices were great so we continued to go here the rest of the time. I'd recommend this spot to anyone. I always left in a better mood than I walked in with because everyone was so genuinely lovely. Thanks, guys!
