  1. If you're trying to decide between this and Church Avenue Liquor/Wines aka STD Liquors, Church Avenue wins by a landslide and that's pretty rooting tooting sad. Neither is great but this is I don't feel like walking the 2 extra blocks out of desperation, this is right below my apartment, eff it I'll come in here and my sweatpants and no one will judge me kind of place. I think they actually even charge $1 or 2 more than Church Avenue Wines. Which is sad because they are limited to Flip Flop, some French acidic blend, Cupcake, Yellowtail, and BigHouse wines for the most part. There are a few others but not worth mentioning. All are pretty awful. There's also a plastic window shield which is never comforting. The store has a musty smell and the bottles are all covered in dust which makes me skeptical as to how long they've been sitting in their boxes. Yes, boxes because the space is very tiny and they don't have enough shelves or fridges to accommodate their entire fine collection. I haven't ever bought well alcohol here because I can barely see it all behind the plastic window. But it is still great for conveniences sake I guess. Just wish they'd try to upgrade their make-shift store a little bit.
