I came back today. It was not busy, since I was the only customer. I came in for a hot coffee on this thundering rainy day. Also, I journeyed to this store in particular seeing that it is a bakery to ask what kind of fillings were inside the pastries. Yes, I walked in armed with a hankering for a delicious, fluffy strudel or something sugary and sweet. I noticed no one looked excited to see me. In fact, the only person who helped me was another customer who entered the establishment twenty minutes later. He was bilingual and offered to tell me what was the interior to their baked goods. Today, I honestly felt like I was not very important–perhaps an inconvenience. I wish that every customer was treated the same with a feeling of delight that there is business in spite of the weather. I guess it just goes to show you that sometimes when you have a choice, you go somewhere that you feel at home, not where you feel more awkward.
