Starbucks around the corner is flooded with soccer moms and high school kids on a rainy Thursday afternoon, so I walked 0.09 mile (according to Yelp) and treat myself with 4 delicious cookies for $1 and a small yummy coffee $1.50. And the peace and quiet? Priceless.
Topps- my favorite bakery from childhood, the one my parents got excellent baked goods at for years. It has changed ownership. Used to be soo good.
Still a great variety but the giant chocolate chip cookie which was once the best cookie ever is completely different; the black and white cookie I couldn't even eat it was so dry and blah; the crumb buns and other danishes– all completely changed.
Bye bye Topps. 🙁
