I came to LaMarqueta originally to visit Hot Bread Kitchen on 4/20 during a recent visit to NYC, but this little cupcake shop next door was too cute to not at least stop in and get a little sweet treat. Their sprinkle/ splash concept is fab, and it's lovely that they are pricing it so that a little treat (a "sprinkle") is affordable for all at $1. They had sample tiramisu cupcakes, which were good, and the choco-choco sprinkle I grabbed on the way out was fresh and delish… and not overly sweet.
It looks like they offer more than just cupcakes… flan is on the list, woot woot!!!
If I lived local, I would surely support this fledgling business!!
