  1. Been here quite a few times.,. Always have good selection of fruits, and other food stuffs, usually cheaper than the large supermarket type stores. They have a small dairy section as well for basics-milk, eggs, yogurt, cheeses..

  2. I love this place – there are some great deals on produce here (some looks a little worn out, just be aware of what you're buying). Searched around for a bag of onions that had all fresh ones, to no avail. Some of the cara cara oranges looked a little sickly when we were there, so we went with plain navel instead. They had a lot of "but x amount" for a lower price but the single item price is always higher so be careful there.

My favorite thing here is the nut and dried fruit bulk section – you cannot go wrong with this, as the prices are better than anything I've ever seen in New York, especially for walnut halves… The date selection is also off the chain. Make a special stop just for that – you won't be disappointed!

  3. Yes, I love this place. This used to be called New Mac Donald's as someone else mentioned, but a new owner made it super snazzy. I used to come here over a decade ago and still it's one of my favorite places to shop.
The prices are pretty low, but it's hit or miss sometimes. I like coming her because it's not as congested as further down Church ave so you can shop in a little bit of peace.
The fruit for the most part is fresh and you can get a box of salad for $2. They've definitely expanded to have dry goods too (nuts!), but like someone else said, watch the cashier as they ring you up, because I have been overcharged several times before.
