I live right around the corner from Associated for over 2 years now. If someone was smart, they would lease 3 store fronts (and there ARE 3 currently available a block away from Associated) and open a competing grocery store with fresher produce, better prices, more variety in selection of products, and friendlier cashiers. I've lost track of the number of times I've returned spoiled meat and rotten milk. Just like a previous reviewer noted, the cashiers are unfazed by returns because they're such frequent occurrences.
