  1. 3.5 Let's start with the good…

Their omelets are amazing! Omg, honestly the omelets and potatoes are hands down great. The portions are huge so you will definitely have left overs. The potatoes are seasoned perfectly and NOT over salted. The omelet was cooked perfectly and every bite had cheese and bacon.

That's pretty much where the good ends sadly. The pancakes although big are lacking flavor and goodness. They have a very large menu and tons of options but honestly my friend and I both disliked the pancakes. When you call yourself the Country PANCAKE house and you don't do pancakes well that's pretty sad.

We walked in and there was actually no line and we were able to get a table right away. Well they said to us "yeah, go grab a table.." Umm thank you, I guess. We sat down waited several minutes until someone came to take our drink order.

As we waited I noticed how not well kept the place is. The floor seems like it hadn't been swept all day. Things seem outdated and serious is mediocre at most. I guess the other good part of this place is that it's pretty cheap for the amount of food you get.

If you want a damn good omelet then yes come here. I'd it's for pancakes please go somewhere else.

  2. I can understand all the bad reviews about the pancakes at this place. My friend and I split 2 different kind of pancakes: oatmeal pancakes with chocolate chips, strawberries, and bananas and the Oreo pancakes. The oatmeal ones were okay and a little tough to be honest but the Oreo ones were ammmmaaazzzing (I love all things Oreo). So well priced for the enormous amounts they serve. The cornbread was a bit dry but I liked the ones with chocolate chips in them. Service was quick. No wait on a Friday morning. CASH ONLY! I want to come back to try their omeletes next time.

  3. Somehow I knew the sign in their window that proclaimed "voted best burger" was a load of mince meat.  I'm a burger snob, but I shoulda known better.

It was served to me like a mountain of meat, but the meat had zero seasoning and tasted like it was freezer burned or something.  I only ate half, unfortunately.  The fries, however, were tasty.

I wish I could give props to places like this, but it was just majorly disappointing.. especially if they advertise their burger so highly.  Then again, the menu was insanely massive.. so I guess the cooks in the back can only do so much with an immense menu like that, a lot is probably just pre-prepared or whatever.  Anyway.

Nice place, but I didn't enjoy my meal.

  4. Omgggggg if you love breakfast come to this place!!! Hundreds of pancakes, French toast, huge omelettes and more. Seriously you should study the menu before you come because it is really hard to pick. Also make sure you bring cash only. They also have oversized pancakes the size of two heads the biggest thing I have ever seen. They start off giving you complementary corn bread and it tastes pretty good. Warm and some have chocolate chips.

My order: stuffed French toast made with challah bread with banana and peanut butter. I added in Nutella because I loooove chocolate. That French toast was hands down to me the best French toast I have ever had. It was a huge serving so next time I will get a half order. Be prepared to take some home. I can eat ALOT So I prob could have finished the whole thing honestly but we are trying a different place later on in our food tour that I wanted to save room.

They also have another location in Lakewood ranch, Florida for all you in the Tampa Bay Area to can experience this great place if you venture out that way.

  5. Get the large pancake and read the rest of my review later.

It's worth the wait. ..put your name in! !!

Yes, get 1 or 2 large pancakes not the 4…..come on!!!

    Wait…really.

The cornbread chocolate chip bread is amazing.

I like the Peter Rabbit and all the chocolate and berry options.

The service is sometimes spotty but the food is amazing right?!

  6. The Story: I love pancakes….and for a girl to love pancakes…why wouldn't i go here?

    Food:
I am extremely disappointed by the pancakes. Sure, having giant pancakes is a visual treat but…that's it. They were extremely tough to eat and mine came out cold 🙁 Their cornbread is good though. I want to try the french toast next…

Decor: Very country diner feel. My only complaint is that the tables are way too close together.

Price: Definitely a great bang for your buck. Boyfriend and I spent total $30 with tip.

Service: Service is fair. Order was taken quickly and food came out quickly. My waitress did forget my water though…

Parking & Finding the Place: There's a ton of street parking.

    Additional Thoughts/Tips: CASH ONLY!

  7. We came here with a party of 12 people for my husbands birthday breakfast.  This was a Friday morning around 930am. Not a weekend or something. There were some tables open after waiting 15 min in the rain and the rude woman came to the door and said they would not be moving any tables together. Basically telling us we can all sit apart. Just what we wanted.

Once a year we get to visit family here  from out of state and this was my husbands birthday pick and after the nasty woman's attitude we will never go back nor will anyone we know.

You lost a lot of money today, and good customers. Maybe you should get your attitude in check or if this woman isn't the manager, have a talk about getting her on some meds.

  8. Holy food coma. How is this place rated a 3 when it should be a 5?!

Two of us waited for five minutes on a Saturday morning. Not bad at all! We started with coffee and some complementary corn bread, which was phenomenal! We split the seafood frittata and the macadamia nut/banana/chocolate chip pancakes.

You need to visit this place on an empty stomach because the portions are beyond generous! Everything was seasoned well and the flavors were on point. Service was great too, and everyone goes home with leftovers. Pretty amazing if you ask me!

Definitely beats any other diner Ive been too!
