I jived on this place pretty hard. Really great vibe, the staff was all cordial, and the burger was pretty banging. Burger and beer happy hour combo was nice – fries were good too.
Bar was quaint, and the menu was pretty varied. I would totally come back to try some of their other reasonably priced food. A friend and I both had burgers and a few drinks and the tab was $53 bucks – that's pretty awesome. If I had to knock it for anything it could use a better tap list, at least in my opinion. That said if I am ever in this hood again I would totally go back.
Awesome service, our waitress last night knew a ton about wine and the current selection, loved the Spanish Garnacha they had! The fish and chips were actually amazing. Really well done. The brick chicken was super good too, but I'd probably opt for the fish and chips over it, despite not being a big fish person. Intimate, awesome date spot. Gotta get back here to try that ice cream sandwich!!! …didn't pair too well with the red wine 😉
The staff is extremely friendly and they have a decent collection of German beers if you're into beer, personally it's not my thing. However the oxtail burrito is pretty tasty and the kitchen closes at 3am. The only downside about this place is, they only accept cash.
I came here with a couple of friends for brunch yesterday, and it truly was as good as it gets!
The drinks included with the entrees, everything was reasonably priced. Furthermore, the oysters were just $1, and a great way to start the meal. Ordering 24 of them, they also paired well with the mimosas and the Bloody Mary that we had selected with our entrees.
I ordered the steak and eggs with chimichurri, which was perfectly-sized and delicious! Served medium-rare and tastefully seasoned, it was accompanied by some of the best fries I have had- and a side salad.
My friend ordered the cheeseburger, which she also said was delicious, and my other friend ordered the onion soup, which she enjoyed.
Furthermore, the ambiance was both hip and casual, and the service friendly.
I'd definitely return.
Okay. I love this place. For realz.
Tons of seating; some high top tables, some regular height, plenty of stools at the bar, seats by open windows in the front, and of course the tables in the back that are perfect during winter thanks to the fireplace.
Brunch here is nom-erific (don't you love when people make up words?? ;)). I had the chicken and waffles. Oh, yes, come to mama. Presentation was gorgeous, portions were generous, and the flavor was good. The chicken was just about falling off the bone…what more can you ask for??
Let's not even get into how ridiculously tasty the ice cream sandwich is. No. It's like…. Oh, just go eat it. You'll come back and thank me for it later.
Wait staff has always been friendly and courteous. Never had a bad experience wth waitresses or bartenders.
Drinks are always solid. I've had everything from classics to inventive drinks made and they always taste great.
If you're in Bed Stuy and you want a cozy, cute, hip spot- this is your place. Come and share in my love for this joint.
Last night was my first time here (just moved to the neighborhood) and i instantly fell in love. The layout of the place and decor are just absolutely perfect!
The bartender (gossssssh, his name escapes me, but he had long hair tied back) was very attentive and friendly. His service was definitely the main reason(s) I would return. Another great reason is that they have a late-night kitchen menu until 3:00AM – are you serious??? That's just perfect.
Came for brunch with some friends who live in the area and had a great meal!
I ordered the Avocado toast with a poached egg – which was super tasty. The added touch of the shaved fennel was a really nice addition, and the egg was poached perfectly. A friend and I split the herb fries – which, OH MY GOODNESS, so addictive and delicious.
The drinks were strong and tasty (and complimentary with an entree, shhh!) Our server was really friendly and outgoing.
