I was looking for a place for an early dinner and I had stopped by Samba's [brazilian] earlier in the day to see if they had a takeout menu. They did not. I looked at their main menu and told them I would be back later in the day. I arrived and was seated immediately. It is a fairly small space [it used to be a French-Thai restaurant] it was hot out and they brought me a tall glass of water with ice. I ordered the mariscada [various types of seafood in a buttery broth that came in a large pot] There were mussels, shrimp, scallops, lobster [tails and claws] and this arrived with white rice and black beans on the side. The meal was delicious. I also got a lime capirinha [they had several varieties] which i drank toward the end of my meal which was great. I had forgotten how messy to get to crack lobster claws etc. but they provided me with small towelettes for clean up purposes toward the end of the meal. I would recommend and return.
Excellent new spot. Great caipirinha, just the right amount of sweetness. Also we got free appetisers for the grand opening. Fantastic staff, highly recommend.
