Way overrated for sure! I rarely eat burgers because I'm very health-conscious and into fitness. However, I was in the mood for a good burger so I decided to give Five Guys a try because of all the hype surrounding the name. First of all, the cashier had an attitude, secondly, I paid $4.95 for a bun less cheeseburger (a beef patty with a single slice of American cheese). I could've cooked this patty on my stove top and it would've tasted the same. My boyfriend got a regular cheeseburger with just ketchup for the same price and again was nothing to write home about. Next time, Ill go to TGIF that's in the same mall.
Gotta love that well done burger. This place is not bad at all. Burger is still juicy even though It comes out well done. Get the bacon cheeseburger double patty with bacon and cheese. Add the sides of grilled onions and bbq sauce and you got yourself a winner.
The free peanuts here is good if theres a long line and youre just sitting around waiting for your burger. Please please dont forget the long cut fries and ask for it "cajun" style to add a little spice in your life.
If I am going to visit fast food and go down the meat route Five Guys is the place to do it. Hamburgers and hot dogs cooked fresh and done up with pretty much anything you like. However, the real draw is in the fries. The best fries I have had outside of Thrashers on the boardwalk and that says A LOT.
Extremely expensive for what you get. Otherwise, the food is quite good. The seating is kind of cramped so it's best to go at off times. The bathrooms are clean.the hot dogs are shiny so I'm guessing that they taste good due to a bit of oil being involved.
My 11-year old recently introduced me to Five Guys, and I'm thrilled he did!
It's sort of fast food, but not quite. The menu is limited, but that's because your order is made fresh. So, you may have to wait a few, but it's worth it. You'll get your order in s brown bag that you can carry out or take to a table.
There are 4 burger options, but you get a litany of toppings (free to choose from). There are regular and small burgers as well as hot dogs and a couple sandwich options. French fries are fresh and cut in store.
Tip: the regular burgers has two patties, which was a bit much for me. The regular fry was enough crispy delights to fill two 12 oz cups.
Yummy juicy burgers and tasty fries. worth the visit!
Over priced and obnoxious staff. Poor choice of buns that get soggy quickly. Very thin and unappetizing fries.
This fast food spot is great. I love how everything is cooked hot and fresh, never once frozen. And the staff is incredibly friendly, courteous, attentive, and accommodating, especially at their young ages. They always give good eye contact when speaking to you about your order, and are never distracted while doing so (a lot of other places have employees texting, talking with each other, or spaced out while you're trying to give your order). The "Little" Burger is enough for me. The regular has two patties. I love the toppings I can choose. The fries are plentiful. They fill the cup, as well as the bag. They're very good. And that soda machine!! So many flavor options from which to choose. It has flavorings I never knew existed. This is our go-to place for cheap but great burgers and fries!
Five guys are taking over the East Coast suburb.
Love the fact that you can order a little burger (one patty) so I can load up on the toppings.
Love their limitless toppings and the fact that they are free.
Love their cajun fries.
Love their peanuts.
Love their price.
