  1. employees are a bit tricky,  price is not clear. The food taste ok. Like other reviews said, pay close attention to your receipt.

  2. Good food at an airport.  Quick slice of pan pizza before a flight and a Pepsi, 7.58.  it was tasty for an airport.

  3. Terrible. Cardboard in my salad. Paid extra for "organics" that I didn't order. And had to pay extra for the large size since they "don't c array small." Go anywhere else.

  4. For an Airport fast food place the food was nicely arranged for display and selection for Italian food great   From chicken Parmesan to lasagna , nice size meatballs, not frozen little ones and Spaghetti. Pizza and Stromboli's available as well.
Salad presentation was nice, should have taken a pic for you with large tomatoes and cucumbers. The woman working was extremely pleasant as well as the other 2 co workers. So unlike a Newark NJ attitude , I was treated as a customer which made the experience more pleasant.

  5. I only post if something really impresses me or I am really unhappy. Unfortunately, I'm not a happy camper. I told the staff I was in a rush and my passenger's plane was landing in ten minutes. They moved incredibly slow, regardless, and the food is already prepared, so there is no excuse for taking a few minutes to just scoop some food onto a tray. Tortellini vodka had little flavor and the shrimp was so salty it made my mouth burn. The mac and cheese was ok. Also, the fountain Pepsi tastes watered down. The one upside is that they did give a nice portion, but that was wasted on me as the food was mediocre.

  6. I touched down in Newark ravishingly hungry, because Southwest only carries peanuts and pretzels on their domestic flights. I was finishing a walk around of the pre-security Terminal A food court when I saw them pulling a fresh "stuffed veggie" pie out of the oven and I just pounced on it.

At first glance, it looked like any other deep dish slice but one bite revealed that the bottom part of the dough is surprisingly thin. Instead, the half-inch tall slice was loaded to crust level with mounds of mildly spicy roasted vegetables and gooey cheese, so I don't recommend trying to lift the slice off the plate.

This wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but I definitely could have done worse with the limited selection available. The "stuffed veggie" was tasty and cheesy enough to feel indulgent, but had enough meaty vegetables to make a filling and somewhat nutritious meal. It was a pretty big slice (looked like roughly a sixth of a large pie) but still expensive at $6 for just one.

  7. Okay, I know I shouldn't expect too much for airport food at 7:30 in the morning but this fell short of my minimum requirements. Located in Terminal A, the area is inviting with ample seating to support all the different restaurants. The best bargain was the coffee – a tall coffee for $2.05, and it was good. Also good, the cup of hot tea but then, how can you screw that up?

My wife originally ordered a breakfast platter which looked and tasted like it had been made the day before – and it was stone cold. They were happy to heat it up but a miracle did not occur so we opted for muffins for $3.29 which were actually pretty good. Looking for something different next time around.

  8. Pretty decent food at the airport. I had the chicken parm and it was good. Get the cucumber salad as one of your sides and you will be pleased.
