  1. It was my first time at Craft Beer Cellars and all I can say is WOW, what a place.  Their name is so fitting because that is exactly what they have. They are specialists when it comes to craft beer and their selection is huge.  Darwin and the staff were so helpful  with the selections and with their trains of the bets on tap.

I look forward to a return visit in the near future!

  2. Beautiful, clean and well-organized store dedicated to craft beer. It was nice to shop somewhere other than a crusty beverage warehouse with a concrete floor.

You'll find lots of specialty brews you wouldn't be able to find even at a well-stocked distributor. The focus is certainly on quality here.

There's a fancy looking growler station by the counter with a TV that lists everything on tap. Head to the back for the cold beer and snack section.

Everyone who worked there was friendly and approachable. No beer snob attitude.

  3. Although they may not have as much variety some other places & distributers, Craft Beer Cellar is a beautiful store with an extremely friendly & knowledgeable staff who are ready to answer all questions & offer their suggestions. I am so glad I attended the Yelp Elite event there a few weeks ago because I tried some truly great beers from Anderson Valley & took home a lot of beer!! My favorites are the Stiegl Lager from Austria & the Ommegang Witte from Cooperstown, NY. I love how the Witte beer is a traditional Belgian Ale yet from NY & it is extremely light with finishing notes of citrus. I am personally not a fan of any beer IPA but tried the Ballast Grapefruit IPA & still true as ever, I did not enjoy it; however I rather appreciate the fact that I didn't have to commit to a six pack & was able to buy just one. I highly recommend Craft Beer Cellar to all craft beer enthusiasts & aficionados!

  4. One of my freelance positions is writing about craft beer. While my editor had the pleasure of interviewing the owners a few weeks prior to me visiting, it was her post that shuffled me through their doors. It's a beer paradise, I'll tell ya!

The staff is super knowledgeable and very adaptable to what you like and don't like. Can we also talk about the crowlers?! Growlers that are cans! It's amazing. Go see for yourself on what I mean about this. They also carried some of my favorite local Hudson Valley beers. I definitely walked out with a bag of goodies.

I will stop in whenever I'm next in the area! It's a beautiful store, well-staffed and with plenty of options. Beer lover or not you will find something you love here.
