  1. Plastered on the door was an enthusiastically hand-scrawled sign announcing the need for their customers to try their undoubtedly awesome loaded nachos.

    Don't be fooled.

It's the Wing Bar. Get wings. Maybe fries or onion rings. But not the nachos. Anything but the nachos. General consensus by us led-astray grubbers was "myehhh.."

But the wings were great. I spent a great deal of time in Western New York and this place gets pretty close. Hot is just the right amount of hot while still being flavorful. How it's supposed to be. Blue cheese, celery, and carrots are given without question. As it should be.

Cheapo $9 pitchers of Coors Light to help sober you up too.

  2. I love this place.

If you are going to have the balls to call your bar The Wing Bar, the wings better deliver. And by golly they do. Get the extra hot. They come out hot tasty and in giant bowls. Rest of the bar food is great too, mozzarella sticks? Check. Fried pickles? Check. Cheap draft beers? Check.

The service is great. I have brought a few friends here and we always leave with a smile.

  3. awesome! my best friend lives in the neighborhood and we're regulars here. I like the regular hot, extra sauce extra crispy. She likes the barbecue. We always wash it down with a nice pitcher of beer, of course. The fries are tasty and delicious. They also have a nice outside area where you can sit and eat, if weather permits this is usually what we do.

    Go here.

  4. Atmosphere: Definitely a spot to go watch the games! It is small, but everyone packs in on Sunday afternoons. Really good vibes.

Food: Delish. And the fried brussel sprouts are SO good. Kind of defeats the purpose of them with the frying, but whatever, it's a wing bar, if I want my veggies fried, bring on the oil.

Drinks: Had a bloody mary on Sunday and asked for it extra spicy, and it was definitely spicy! Good, solid, strong drinks here, and not too overpriced.

Definitely coming here for more games, but will be sure to arrive early to grab a spot!

  5. The Best Wings

Visited again this past weekend and once again the place was great.  The wings are just too good not to leave this short 2nd review.  We'll never miss the place when we come back into town.

    Thanks

  6. Good sports, good wings, good steak sandwich. Sit at the bar, and you can watch them deep fry and toss the wings. Really gets your appetite up, especially if you're drunk or hungover. And why would you go to a place named Wing Bar and not get the wings? They weren't amazing, but they were good and got me to where I needed to be. Also had the steak sandwich, which was okay. More filling than anything. Cool bartenders, and one cute one.

  7. I miss you Wing Bar.  We need to visit soon.  You are my answer to late night munchies and sports night feasts.  The mild sauce is a perfect blend of hot and a hint of sour without burning your mouth.  Many different sauces to smother those crispy wings to your liking.  If you're named "The Wing Bar" you kind of have to have good wings to live up to the name!  Some nights are better than others with the frying of the chicken, but it's always been very good.  Go during a random week night in the summer and enjoy a table by the open windows to people watch on Smith Street and have a quieter evening when it's not a big game night.  Also, the chili cheese fries are some of the best I've had.  Good beer, good wings, good fries.

  8. Picked this place on a whim.  Lunch during the week.

It has the dive bar type feel to it.

Biked here, there were bike racks.

They had a check-in special for $8 for five wings, fries and a soda or pint of beer.

    It was a good deal.

I enjoyed this place very much!
