El Nuevo Bohio
“Not crazy about their chicharrones de pollo sin hueso but the pernil was awesome soft and tender, rice and beans are good had them twice for lunch but it's too much food for one person.”
“I definitely recommend the baked chicken and their pepper steak, it's cooked to perfection.”
“My favorite is the fried pork belly pronounced "chee Cher rones"
Amazing you have to get the pickle red onions and fried sweet plantains.”

We stumbled upon this place only to get a cup of coffee…But we ended up having a lunch instead…
I had a good experience here. There was only one waitress and she was attentive and helpful. but we just ended up just ordering at the counter and service is fast. So if you're in a hurry, you'll be happy here..
There is an ATM in the store. I'm not sure if it's CASH only…(my husband paid) so make sure you have cash just in case.
The environment is clean and is kept consistently clean.
The only thing is that they messed up my coffee order and put 2 sugars instead of only 1. But that's ok. I'd just count that as an honest mistake.
I would definitely come back here if I was in the Bronx again…
Strictly biased on the breakfast menu, I can devour everything twofold. The five dollar special is amazing! But I never get it. I love my pancakes, folded eggs, home fries, and breakfast meat in its' separate aluminum confines. That way I can scream "Mortal Kombat", hoping for an extended morning food coma, or a 'fatality.'
