Ok so my bf and i just left this place. We did NOT order anything, literally got up from our table and left. WHY? Let me tell you… The waitress was so god damn rude and vein. She made a very inappropriate joke to me and my boyfriend and i gave her the stare of death. CUSTOMER service here sucks, i hate dissing the west indian community but some of these folks are so disgusting and poorly educated, i was not having it tonight. They have NO common sense or mannerism. They say what ever the hell they want and think that will bring customers in. THIS VENUE WILL NEVER get my business again. They need to hire new employees and make them take a class on customer satisfaction. ZERO stars if possible.
-0 / 10 customer service
I really wish I could give this restaurant a higher rated because the food is so good. The shrimp wontons are amazing, the caura wings are to die for, and the lo main is awesome! Their drinks are also really good. I've never had a bartender mess up my drink and my friends love the henny mojitos, especially when it's Ian making it.
Unfortunately, I had to give it only three stars because of the sucky waitress we dealt with Friday and Saturday night. First, Friday night there were 13 people in our party. We ordered a ton of appetizers and drinks – we were not at all rowdy. The waitress rarely came over to check on us. She came over a couple times to clear up the table when the guys left to get shots at the bar which was nice except she kept emptying trays of food into other trays. Being that some of our party wasn't eating meat they were upset to see the mixing when they came back to the table. That wasn't the worst. That was super minor. She also brought the boys the wrong drinks 2 different times and got angry when one of the boys insisted his be fixed. What was the worst was that she came over and said "I'll bring you the bill. You guys are leaving soon." Uh? We are? I had a feeling it was the end of her shift and she wanted to make sure she got her tip before she left. I told her we aren't ready for the bill unless she's kicking us out. She then said she thought because the guys went to the bar that we would prefer to be at the bar. I informed her that I'm 8 months pregnant and unable to stand the smoke that was at the bar upstairs and that the boys went to get a pitcher of the mojitos that they prefer to get from that specific bartender.
We spent $200 in food and approximately $250 in drinks. It's not like we were just taking up space for her to decide we would leave soon!
Anyways, like I said the food is amazing so my husband and I went back alone the next night. It's two of us. We asked for a booth because the regular chairs hurt my back, again I'm pregnant and I said this to the person seating us. We ordered our food and then the same woman from the day before comes over and asks to move us. Why? Because a party of 6 just walked in and they want the booth we already are sitting at. I didn't feel like arguing so I said it's okay but she moved us to a bigger table in the back NEAR THE SMOKE. I told her I was pregnant both nights. Why Would you put us near the smoke? I have to assume that she was just being nasty to us because we gave her a lousy tip for her lousy service the day before because tell me why you would move two people to a table for 10 instead of giving that to the 6 people that just walked in?
Anyhow, there was one nice server. She had red hair and unfortunately I didn't get to ask her name but on our bill it said Ria. I'll make sure that when I go back I won't be served by anyone by her.
Service: 10/10
Staff: Ugh.
UPDATE: tried to give this restaurant another shot. I will NEVER return. It's like their serves get more and more rude each time. EMPTY restaurant – asked for a booth and was told they're all occupied…my husband, father in law, cousin, and I all looked at each other in shock bc the whole place was empty! We took a table, the table is shaking so badly we can't put our hands on it so asked to be moved and got looked at like we asked for a million dollars. Then we were moved to a side table that smelled of fish. Cousin asked where the bathroom is and got a nasty look from the waitress. We got up and left. Not spending our money where we're treated like shit.
