  1. Nice spot! We had tasty lamb and sweetwater burgers, a nice avocado salads and beautiful bloody mary. Like the garden set up!

  2. Late night dream date destination!

I may or may not always get the same thing and then try what everyone else has. The lemon chicken with mashed potatoes is seriously to die for. It melts in your mouth with every bite the ideal amount of lemon and the soft and chewy texture… ugngnghhhh please.

The steak, the burger and the mussels are also ALL excellent. I mean truly.

If you come at ~dinner~ time it will be packed, your best best is to come late when its simmered down a little so you can relax and enjoy your fancy night tucked away from the bustling hipster metropolis that will be awaiting your return.

    It's pricey so ~treat yo' self~

  3. I love the garden in the back and the hanging lights.

The poached eggs and lamb burger are two really great brunch dishes but if you're looking to get full then order the latter. I probably missed the memo on the bloody mary though because almost everyone had one at their table and weren't shy about ordering two or three more. I'll have to try that the next time I go!

  4. Came here sat night and had some drinks at the bar – its a small, intimate place and the bar staff were lovely. Nice cocktails!! Good music, very relaxed, chilled vibe. Saw food coming out which looked and smelt fantastic, so will have to come back another time. Appears to be food service at the bar too as I saw someone have a massive piece of cake at the bar which looked divine!!! Cute place for a date too

  5. A long, leisurely lunch on a late April afternoon sets up the scene for a delicious burger in their garden.  This place is great but if you can, sit in the garden.  It's an oasis in the middle of the city.

  6. Family owned, friendly service and good comfort food. #restaurantreview #nyc #williamsburg

We popped in for a drink and a bite. Ate at the bar, where the bartender humored my husband's request for a penicillin and made something as close to it as possible.

We ordered the spaghetti squash. It was fantastic. we dipped the breads from the bread basket in the sauce and wished we could stay for a whole dinner.

This seems like the kind of place you would go to regularly if you lived in Brooklyn. Reliable comfort food in a no-frills environment.

  7. Came here for dinner last night and sat in the back deck area.  It was very pretty, I felt like I was in a tent in a tree house or something.

I ordered the gazpacho soup, the scallops and the steak.  The soup was so-so.  I felt like it was sort of bland and needed more spice.  It was more tomato based but I think it would have been better if was just normal gazpacho.

The scallops were good, light and fluffy just the way they should be.  The steak was great.

However, I tried my friend's pork and was very disappointed.  It was not good at all and it sounded good because it had prosciutto but sad sad sad.  Overall I'd go back but for certain dishes, cocktails were on point : )

  8. Patio was amazing on a summer night and the staff is crazy friendly.  The food is decent, but not amazing.  Definitely go there when the weather cooperates for outside-sitting.
