This cute bakery reminds me of a fancier Panera Bread. If this is insulting, I am sorry. It is all that I have to compare coming from Florida. I came here with my cousin, her husband and son.
I went to the register and ordered myself a vegan treat (see photo), while my cousin and her son found a seat. Her husband ordered a cappuccino for the both of them. It was a huge and gorgeous looking cup of caffeine. The staff came to the table to see if were interested in ordering anything else.
At the time, I was not hungry yet. I didn't end up ordering more food. I would like to come back sometime. It's a nice cafe with a casual setting. They have this large table down the center, towards the back of the restaurant. It's great for having a snack and using a laptop.
This is a welcoming place. Love it!
A bunch of friends and I came here for brunch a few weekends ago and it was lovely! Such a large space even though you might not expect that from the outside and we were seated right away.
I was trying to decide between the ham and gruyere croissant or Belgian waffle. I finally chose the Belgian waffle and boy, was I happy about my decision. It was amazing, delectable, delicious… It was served with cream and jam which tasted very fresh. The waffle itself was sweet, slightly crispy yet still soft and fluffy, and satisfied me completely. I also dipped the waffle in their Belgian chocolate sauce and it tasted incredible!
Our waiter was wonderful and very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and even gave us separate checks after the meal even though we hadn't asked for that in the beginning.
The quality of the menu is better than most soup and salad joints. They have a lot of fresh, organic, and/or gluten free selections.
I really enjoy their selection of pastries. I recommend the croissant and cheese almond Danish. The oven roasted chicken and smoked mozzarella tartine is amazing. A tartine is pretty much a mini open toast sandwich. My favorite thing from their menu is the Tuscan white bean and prosciutto salad. It's just sooo delicious. You really leave there feeling satisfied and healthy at the same time. Don't forget to order a huge cup of latte.
The dine in experience is fulfilling. They have a server to tend to your every needs. There's a long common table and you see plenty of people sitting there doing there work on their laptops. I guess it's not your ordinary soup and salad place. It's kind of a cafe all in one.
Definitely have been to better bakeries and cafe's. The breads are of average quality and the sandwiches don't stand out in my opinion. I've had the split pea soup here with chicken sandwich and both weren't memorable.
Pricey and the service was a bit rushed and non attentive. It's your below par chain bakery box store. Wouldn't recommend.
The Quick: Although I'm a big fan of this chain, didn't love this location. Small "to go" feel, as compared to a leisurely neighborhood coffee shop.
The Damage: Almost $5 for a cappuccino that was just not that good
Le Pain has a nice approach, with self seating and a communal table.
It's also relative quiet and rarely too busy, which makes it a good place for business meetings or a quiet place to read.
The food is also very vegan and veggie friendly, and tasty.
The problem is the service, which is inconsistent and often very delayed. I go here a lot and the service is rarely good. The food and quiet make it worth it.

First off, I LOVE bread. I was expecting some great bread out of this place, but honestly, the menu is a piece of crap.
I was forced to order a tartine to get some meat along with some bread. I got the avocado and prosciutto tartine, which was really just a basic, no-skill-necessary, open-faced sandwich with mediocre ingredients.
And I knew I wouldn't be full after eating these four small pieces of baguette with the barely-there ingredients, so I asked for some extra baguette. At any real restaurant, bread is free, but here, a baguette order is about $8, so I was forced to "ORDER" a half order of baguette for $4!!! It was literally three slices of bread. WHAT THE FUCK!!!
And to top it the fuck off, our waiter had a stank-ass attitude. Screw him! Just do your job, dickface.
And $4 for a tiny apple turnover that barely has any taste?! Fuck you!
Wow, I really hated this place. I wanted to try it for a while because I saw other locations in the city, but what a disappointment! And the baguette wasn't even good! No where close to a real baguette, so they fucked that up too!
Franchise ownership operation for mass produced baked concoctions should not be overpriced nor be dried to the bone. One Cinnamon Raisin bun at $2.95 was small and dry that churns my hunger pangs all through the morning. The one server in the line of sight was efficient, professional and very prompt with a line of five patrons eager to placing and attaining their orders respectively. Overpriced for okay quality and mediocre substance.
