  1. One of my favorite Burger Spots ever. The spicy fries are to die for. The large order fills me up for a whole day.

Looking forward to a location opening up close to me on Shore Parkway in Brooklyn. Will definitely be a consistent customer.

Oh and they carry Gold Peak Sweet Ice Tea!

  2. A NY classic franchise. 5 Guys is for us what In and Out Burger is to L.A.
What I really love about 5 guys is how despite the fact that the initial price of the burger is on the expensive side, the toppings you get to put after that are all FREE!! Also they make really good burgers!

I ordered just a regular cheeseburger and requested for grilled mushrooms and onions added. Even that simple order alone was enough to brighten up my mood for the rest of the day. I'm a basic guy, so give me a burger, some fries and a drink and I'm set.

I also ordered the Cajun fries and a large fruit punch. The fries were a little too fried, not burnt, but definitely spent a few seconds longer on the fryer than I liked. Still they were nicely seasoned.

  3. Very, very average

  4. Five Guys. DUH. Fries, fat burgers and free peanuts. Done.

  5. I've been going to Five Guys all over the NY state area, especially the one in Fishkill. The one in Fishkill is cheaper than the ones in NYC, but I guess they have to make money somehow. This was the first Five Guys I've eaten at in NYC. It's a very nice place, clean and very modern, homey feel to it. The only complaint is that some of the workers take forever to take your order, and to prepare it. And when the food does come out, it wasn't as good as the one I've had upstate. I prefer you go eat at another Five Guys, preferably outside of NYC.

  6. 5 guys is still fast food but just fast food that takes a lil longer, is a lil more expensive and tastes a lil better.  I love the free peanuts thing. I think every restaurant should offer free peanuts. Free peanuts should be a law.
Ok so with that out of the way lets do the rest of the review. I love that they offer unlimited free toppings. You can really get kinda crazy but Im a lil dull and just go Grilled Mushrooms, Grilled onions and A1 sauce. The burger itself is actually pretty solid if a bit greasy with a nice char however would it kill them to MELT THE CHEESE! the freaking piece of cheese was cold for crying out loud! Actually wouldve given them 4 stars if not for that. The fries are really good but again a bit greasy (I really dont eat much fast food so once very few months I will live). I also like that they have those cool coke machines that let you mix and match and have flavors I never heard of, orange vanilla HiC?? Who knew???

  7. I'm not sure how this place can get anything less than five stars. Burgers are slamming, fries are delicious and they give you the notable extra scoop with every order. You can choose your own toppings, snack on peanuts while you wait and the service is great.. What more do you want? I'll tell you what else, a bar attached to it..

Came here on a Thursday night and a buddy mentioned that this location actually has a bar upstairs. To my surprise, we walked through Five Guys to a door in the back that led us to a bar/lounge upstairs. What's even better is you can place a food order from five guys at the bar and have it brought up to you. Very chill vibe and truly one of those NYC gems that you'd never know about unless someone mentioned it to you. Though I don't eat fast food much anymore, the few times that I decide to, I'll certainly be paying this place a visit.

    Five guys or bust!

  8. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me over and over again? I think that just makes me a fool. I consider myself a relatively intelligent person, yet I keep getting sucked in by all the hype that Five Guys is the "best burger in town" or "best burger in the country." It never is. Yet in spite of my consistent disappointment in a burger that's average at best (mediocre and overpriced at worst), I come here every six months or so expecting more. Why do I do this to myself? Will I ever learn? Will it ever get better? Probably not, but my foolish self will probably keep hope alive. See you in six months….
