  1. When Five Guys opened in my neighborhood last year, I knew my diet was in deep trouble.  In a neighborhood where the best food you can get is Pizza place or Chipotle on the nights where I get home too late Five Guys is like shining star in the corner of my eye as I walk out the subway stop.

The problem here is that they give you so much flexibility in adding toppings that it's actually hard to make a decision.  The staff took a little bit of time and it's not as quick as the Five Guys in the Village, but it was nearly 9:30pm so I could excuse that.

When I got home with the burger to share with my wife it hit the spot.  It was one greesy dinner for two busy people but nothing beats a well made burger filled where every bite is nice and cheesy, it was all I could ask for at the end of a long day.  I can worry about hitting the Gym the next day.

  2. I had such a good experience her today for lunch. Maybe it's because all the students are gone and the staff are just that much happier – but I was greeted with a warm smile and my colleague and I's food was ready in no time flat. I had a double cheese burger and I couldn't have been happier. Top that off with a peanut butter shake – I was basically eating my feelings and my feeling was joy my friends … Feeling. Joy.

First time in this joint but having lived in DC for 5 years this franchise has lived up to 5 guys reputation. Definitely worth returning again to dive deep into grease and deliciousness.

Also it was one of the cleanest 5 guys I've ever been to. I mean usually you see hansel and grettle style peanut drippings all over the place – but someone came out to sweep every 10 minutes it seemed. Top marks!

  3. Five Guys Burgers & Fries

I ordered the little Bacon cheeseburger, so yummy, perfectly done!! I love that the toppings on the burger are free and while I just go for some mayo and lettuce I like that they're are so many options!! And also to have the name little in front of it this burger is nothing but !!

Overall a great burger place I got the fries as well because what's a burger without fries but I'm not crazy about their fries, some felt a bit undercooked but not horrible.

Also the energy in this place!! I love seeing a well oiled machine, the guy who seems to be a supervisor or manager is doing one heck of a job keeping his staff motivated and keeping them doing their best work!

Wished I would of taken a picture of my burger before eating but it just looked so delicious maybe next time Yelp ! 🙂

  4. Ew. This place is gross.

Its dirty. There are bags of fries in the corner.

Despite all of the misleading signs in the joint, I have never had a worse burger. And not just in the city. In my life. It was flavorless. And really expensive! $15 bucks for soda, burger and fries.

The fries were soggy. No crunch.

    Just a horrible-never-again experience. Ew.

  5. Great burger with pretty good fries too. It was a bit too oily in my opinion; that's the only downside. I would give it 3.5 stars. It's definitely worth a try.

  6. Hit or miss. Sometimes good, sometimes you'll wait around a half an hour for a burger and fries. Overall, not bad though. The food is always a good quality and that counts more than speedy service in my book.

  7. I paid $5.00+ for a burger comparable to, but not as good as, Shake Shack. With fries, It was almost $10.00.

Hyped. To the max. I'll continue to dodge long lines at any Shake Shack for my perfect little burger when I get my meat craving.

However, the fries were good and it was fun to stare at cute, though surely conceited, Columbia boys.

I've always found there to be something so…oddly sterile about this fast food chain. It's just never really done it for me…

  8. Oh my freaking gosh, this place is so delicious.

I felt like a super hero fat kid. This place reminds me of In-N-Out Burger, but possibly better. Only thing that needs improvement are the shakes.

Cajun fries were on point and the burger oh gosh the burger. Super moist, cheese melted on perfectly, bun toasted just right. I wouldn't change one damn thing on how they create their burgers.

If you grew up to or are a parent/aunt/uncle,etc and watched Sponge Bob, it's like crusty crab burgers. You immediately fall in love after your first bite.

    Yes, it is true.

This location is clean, busy, has friendly staff, and makes your order quick- which is great.
