  1. This is an ok place for burgers. I like the idea of building your own with selection of toppings and buns.

Drinks have free refills but they can not be shared.

We had order fried artichokes as our appetizer it tasted like oysters or maybe it was just me.

The fried tater totes were good.

  2. Making some solid burgers here at burger bistro. The burgers here are big and they actually for the bun. It's made exactly you like it and cooked true to its name so if you get medium rare then it will be medium rare.

They give a lot of options here for your burgers you can choose between beef, turkey, Kobe beef, or lamb. They have different buns like brioche, potatoe, and whole wheat. Then they offer a huge selection of toppings and cheeses ranging from things like buffalo shrimp to feta cheese!

You'll never get board of the combinations here! Plus it's nice that they offer a lot of discounts on groupon and living social (usually 20 for 10). Don't forget to sign up for their email subscription because they give a lot of deal there as well.
Each day of the week has a special. But that changes. Tuesday's use to be half off beers and Thursday's use to be free cheese/ topping . So make sure you know before you go!

The place gets busy at night but the service is quick and friendly so the wait isn't too bad!

Their side dishes are awesome! The buffalo tatertots and the sweet potatoe fries are a must try.

My go to order: medium rare beef burger on brioche bun with cheddar cheese, bacon, fried egg, and carmalized onions with sweet potatoe fries.

  3. If you want to run away from adult responsibilities and feel like a child again, Burger Bistro might be a good place to start.
The menus lets you personalize your burgers/meals with a crayon! This makes the communication between the wait staff and customers much easier.

I got the groupon deal $10 for $20. Ordered a Veggie burger with guacamole. Heads up though, most of the toppings, there's an extra charge. Extra charge on cheese, onions, even sauces!
I was really excited to try the seasoned fries but when i asked the waitress, she told me there was only regular fries.bummer.

Veggie burger was good, nothing too extraordinary. If it wasn't for the groupon deal, i dont think i would return.

  4. Are the burgers here great? Yes. Are there better burgers to be found? Absolutely.

This place is definitely a great spot but it's a little to hyped up for my liking. I came here expecting a great experience (expectation was still low because it's a burger place) and left only 3/4 satisfied. Between the unenthusiastic wait-staff and loud pop music I was already a little let down. Additionally, I've had much better burgers so don't let the Zagat rating convince you of something supreme.

Give it a shot but remember that hype is one hell of a drug.

  5. We've been here a few times and wanted to come back because we had good memories here.  On this particular visit, however, the burgers weren't as good as we remembered them to be.  We came with a group of 5 on a Sunday afternoon so it was quite easy to get a table.  Thanks to the owners for having unlimited refills on sodas, and thanks to the staff for being on top of their game.  We were quite thirsty from paintballing so we downed countless sodas.

As for the food, we started with buffalo tater tots and they were delicious!  Good appetizer for a small group to share.  Then came out burgers which we all went with beef instead of other meats.  Toppings were plentiful since they do have over 2 million combinations possible!  Everyone ordered something a little different such as bacon, mushroom, onions, pineapple, jalapeno, and others.  They certainly do not cheap out on the toppings at $1.50 each.

The only issue we had were with the cooking temperature of the burgers.  Everyone who ordered medium got theirs rare.  Rare to the point where we had to use forks to rip the meat apart instead of biting through it.  Those who ordered medium well had a leather puck!  The meat was so overly cooked that it was dry and hard to eat.  We had to lather the burger in ketchup in order to make it edible.  Though the temperature was off, at least the flavor was good and the patties well seasoned!

We wouldn't write off the Burger Bistro, we just probably caught them on a bad day.  We'd still come back.

  6. I came here with my wife and son for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. For an appetizer I ordered the fried corn. It was so gooood.

I liked that you can build your own burger. I built mine taller than Dikembe Mutumbo. I had a beef burger with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, bacon and a fried egg. I asked for my burger medium rare and it came out cooked perfectly. My wife also ordered hers medium rare but it was closer to the rare side. I also ordered tater tots for myself which were really good as well. My son had the kids burger and fries.

I left this place feeling so full and satisfied. But my pockets felt kinda light. Two adult burgers with fries, one kids burger with fries, three drinks and the corn appetizer came out to a little over $70. Add the tip and if came out to over $80, ouch. The food was really good though.

So bring your appetite and bring your rent money, it's worth it.

  7. My husband and I have been ordering from Burger Bistro for about a year and a half now and we have always enjoyed the burgers and tater tots. Lately however we've noticed that the burgers have gotten somewhat smaller and the oil that the tater tots are fried in has an odd taste to it- we aren't sure if it's the taste of the oil itself or that it just isn't changed often enough.
Anyway, we ordered again last night, my husband got a burger and the housemade potato chips and I ordered the chopped salad with grilled chicken. The burger as usual was small but good and the chips had an odd oil taste again so we only had a few. Onto my salad. Now I don't mind paying extra for a really good salad, but wow (look at the pictures). The salad itself was $9 plus an additional $6 for the chicken- so we are talking a $15 salad here….seriously? The salad consisted of extremely soggy shredded iceberg lettuce, a few bits of tomato and cucumber, a couple of pieces of bacon and 1 half of an artichoke heart. The description stated: with bacon, bleu cheese(which I opted out of), artichoke hearts, tomato, cucumber and onion. I mean really- this salad should have been like $5. A salad from McDonalds is more presentable looking.

  8. The burger and the bun starts off at $9, comes with free lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Everything else is customizable to your liking for about $1.50 each (sauce, egg, bacon, you get the point). Fries run about $5 extra.

The service was amazing at the waitress was really attentive. I highly recommend trying the chipotle mayo, it's a little spicy but makes a great dipping sauce for your burgers and fries.

A little on the expensive side, but it's all overall a tasty burger and really great service. Right now Groupon has a deal for $20 worth of food for $10 so it's the time try this place out and see what all of the great reviews are about!
