  1. I had a great experience at this rodizio on a Thursday night. I purchased it because I knew I'd be in the Bronx and it was just a hop skip. So glad I did.

The service is attentive and professional. We weren't shaded because we had a Groupon. We ordered a glass each of the Sauvignon blanc and the sangria. Loved them both.

The salad bar had some salad selections but not a lot of salad-y vegetables, which was cool. They offered two AMAZING sauces – both green, both delectable. One was a green, oil-based sauce. The other was a chimmichuri. Both were excellent on the meats.

The servers were very generous with the meats. My favorite was the loin of pork. They also had – sirloin steak, flank steak, chicken thighs, chicken and pork sausages, beef kabob, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, prime rib and leg of lamb. Wow, right?

The bread was served warm, the restrooms were clean and the bar looked like a fun scene. I will definitely be back and you should, too!

  2. I would still give the same rating, but I've been there twice more since my last review (with the Groupon deal). The service is still great, but I have noticed a little more up selling of the drinks and desserts (which are very pricey imo – $10 for a glass of sangria). I understand the business motive behind this, but it does make me feel a little bad when I turn them down because I genuinely don't want dessert or drinks. My dining partners have tended to fall into the extra purchases, but I've stayed strong. Also, I would recommend going in the middle of dinner time; I went at around 5/515 on a weekday and it was still a bit empty. While it was still comfortable, I think the atmosphere would be a bit nicer with more tables filled. Overall, delicious food, great service, come hungry!!

  3. If you like skewered meat then get in your car! All you can eat churrascara style
grilled meat served table side on skewers on a variety rotation.
If your like me & you don't, well there is a solid salad bar that serves up a lot more than just mixed greens, veggies and cheeses like steamed & chilled shrimp, grilled zucchini, fresh marinated string beans, sushi, pastas, rice & beans, and two hot entrées. And a separate entre menu offering traditional Brazillian style dishes.
Order a side of the garlicky quick pan fried collard greens – so good.
The caipirinhas are delicious and mighty strong!
    Service is pleasant yet brisk.
The rear interior dining rooms are comfortable, exposed brick walls, dark wood, table cloths, low lighting, Brazilian music, and a far cry from the loud boisterous soccer cheering outside bar crowd!
Parking is a nightmare in Port Chester so bring your patience 😉

  4. Very solid, tasty churrascaria with extremely pleasant service.  Came for lunch during the holidays, was rather deserted, but was seated promptly and food came out immediately.  The salad bar was a solid "very good"- if you are thinking of a Fogo or Texas de Brazil level it just isn't that big.  It was fresh with a good mix of salads (we also went for lunch and as we left they were putting out a more extensive dinner bar).

Meat wise they were very fresh and well cooked.  Personally I loved the chicken- it was incredibly flavorful.  However, if you have been to Fogo or Texas de Brazil you are expecting the steaks to knock your socks off.  Frankly, it was solidly GOOD but I was not overwhelmed.  Sirloin and prime rib were perfectly cooked but needed a bit more in terms of seasoning.  Overall, we enjoyed our meals and would call it a solid "very good."

  5. I came here with a groupon for four people on a Sunday evening however I had 5 people with me.
The price for the additional personal was not too bad. Overall a good meal.
The food was good we left some room for dessert.
-Warm brownie with vanilla ice cream
    -Guava Cheesecake

    Both very good.

  6. My boyfriend got a Groupon for this place. We came tonight from Stamford. Food was excellent. Service was great. Boyfiend said the staff was amazing. Everyone was polite and friendly. Boyfriend glad he found this place. Says he will be returning. I told him he should have tipped more than what was included as a gratuity in the bill–restaurant should add more than ~15 for 120$ bill-should be ~20. Boyfriend said he will make it up when he comes back without the groupon and brings his parents

  7. Came here with friends and the experience was fantastic!

Leo (our main guy), made sure we were taken care of every step of the way.( it's been a while since I've been to a Churrasqueria- I forgot the protocol), but Leo helped us along the way.

Things got a little bit tricky because I don't eat pork or beef. Luckily, Leo suggested the broiled salmon which was done to perfection. In addition to my salmon, I got to enjoy the Grilled Lamb and Grilled Chicken that was passed around and carved at the table.

Leo (and the owner- a very sweet gentleman) were extremely obliging.

Service was excellent and as mentioned earlier- Leo and the owner went out of their way accommodate us.

Our friends and I just lingered in The Copa and no one hurried us nor were we rushed to pay. (The music in the background was lovely and I felt like dancing). The owner offered us an after- dinner drink- which was greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for a cool experience.

  8. This is a family-friendly place and we stop by every few months, although at this point only for dinner and with a Groupon. We once ordered a la carte (and didn't feel it was worth it) and a couple of times went with mixed drinks (which we felt were watered down) and since they don't have any beers on draft for us it's a bottle of (reasonably priced) red wine with the rodizio. The salad bar is perfectly fine (although labels to identify the key ingredients in the mixed salads would be nice), but not worth a special trip, and with the rodizio the key is knowing what you want. We don't want their chicken or pork (too dry) or sausage (when we want sausage, we eat German!), but we consistently enjoy their beef and lamb. The various cuts of steak, prime rib and short ribs are all generally fantastic. Occasionally a piece is over done, in which case we push it away and are sure to ask for a new one. We like the sides and inevitably ask for more rice and fried plantains. Even when it gets busy (and it does get busy), in our experience most of the staff are quite friendly.
