“You cant really go wrong ordering this, and especially since they were previously BonChon, there's a certain standard they've upheld.”

“Being the successor of what was previously a Bon-Chon it maintains its reputable excellence through its food.”

“If you come here, go for the small wing and drumstick combo ($11) and get the kimchi waffle fries (big portion).”

  1. Pretty good place for lunch.  I usually order the fried chicken strips, half and half – salt and pepper and soy garlic.  The order comes with 6 big pieces of chicken strips and a bowl of rice.  It's filling and the price is very reasonable.  I tried their fried rice before, it's good, but I don't think I would reorder that.  I also came here with my co-workers and did sake bombs before.  It's fun.

  2. Horrible customer service.

We ordered food for delivery at 4pm — we waited three hours and had to call three times for them to finally tell us at 7pm that there were serious delays and that we should probably cancel our order.

Why not tell us this the first time we called? jeez.

  3. GREAT drink specials. Happy hour appetizers are a bit dissapointing and for Korean fried chicken, I still recommend heading down to ktown and going to turntable BUT for what's in the area, this place is pretty solid. Entrees are huge and def wallet friendly.

  4. Not as good as bon chon chicken but better than what I had anticipated. I've tried their spicy and soy garlic – both are pretty good, but I'm a bigger fan of their soy garlic. The beer, soju, and flavored soju are a little more than what you would expect at a Korean fried chicken place bt given its location, I wasn't too surprised.

  5. Had a really great time here last night. Sat right in front of the TV with the Korean pop music videos which was fantastic. Came here with 4 of my friends and we will definitely be coming back.

The drinks had real lychee in them. First time I've ever had lychee and I was obsessed. The drinks overall were great and very strong. The lychee Bellini is to die for, highly recommend!

All the food was great. The appetizers especially. Scallion pancakes and black truffle fries were unreal. My friends and I just ordered a bunch of different plates and shared. To be honest, the baos weren't great. There are a lot better places in NYC where you can get an AMAZING bao, this place isn't it…but everything else we had was delicious!

The servers were friendly and very helpful. I thought the atmosphere was fun and laid back, perfect for a night out with friends. Be prepared to spend a lot though! The prices don't LOOK expensive on the menu, but everything adds up(especially when you order 10 bellinis and pitchers of beer…) Would definitely come back here with friends again, great little spot!

  6. We had great service here but ultimately the food was touch and go. The edamame, which we got for free through the yelp special offer (thanks yelp!), was great.  We also ordered a pork belly bao which was so full of mayonnaise (ummm what?!) that it was practically inedible.  The chicken spring rolls were good although extremely small, even for an appetizer.

We split the main course which was delicious, although I really hate mushrooms which apparently comprised half of the dish (even though it was not listed), so I couldn't truly enjoy the entire dish, but the meat was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious.

A couple of other things that merit mentioning: this place is EXTREMELY loud. I could not hear the person sitting at my own table, and we were shouting the entire time.  There is no need for the music to be this loud anywhere besides a dance club.  There is also only one bathroom, shared between men and women, that lacked toilet paper and was dirty when I was there.  Who wants to wait 20 minutes to use a dirty toilet? Gross.

This would have made for a four star review if the prices were more reasonable, but we spent about $60 on food only to still be hungry at the end of the meal.  There are better places in the area to eat.

  7. Disappointed. Ordered for delivery, so I understand that quality diminishes a little bit, but still pretty sub-par as I've ordered this same dish for delivery from other establishments

Got the bulgogi and rice. The portion was decent, however the meet was incredibly tough and bordered on difficult to eat. The marinade also lacked a lot of the flavor I typically associate with the dish.

This disappointment, coupled with price tag leads to a less than desirable experience.

  8. I'm basing this review off of a seamless delivery order.

The shortrib bulgogi burger w truffled shoestring fries – Burger was about as average as they get.
The fries were "truffled" in name only. That said, delivery fries always suck

Bulgogi bao – quite delicious. Ribeye steak, kimchi in a soft bun with some tasty sauce.

If I was going to order from this place again, I'd just get 5 of the bulgogi bao….but I won't
