Meh. Lost its appeal. Lots of salty food. I feel like all you get any more lukewarm bottom of the barrel food. You're in New York. You can do better.
Don't get me wrong, I love Chipotle! But the last time I went, I was surprised at the meat portion that I received–it was definitely a lot less than the standard that I was used to.
I must admit I am not a regular in chipotle but I do enjoy it from time to time. My go to item is steak tacos with brown rice, black beans, peppers, sour cream and cheese. Absolutely delicious!!! I also do the burrito but it can be a bit much for me so I try to stay with tacos. Definitely alot of food which is good since you can pay up to 9 bucks. This location always has lines but I must admit they are very quick. The staff is always nice and attentive.
It's Chipotle. Everyone knows about Chipotle. So is this place good or bad? I would say it's average. If you work nearby, or wanted some quick food in the area, stop by. The seating area is satisfactory and service is very speedy and clear. Workers are friendly as well. I took off two stars because the taste was very average, and the portions were significantly slacking.
All Chipotles' have long lines during lunchtime. What's not to love about Chipotle? The staff was really quick, and this time gave me a lot more, I guess they give more during busy hours.
I came here a few times and I usually really like this place however it only takes one time to experience a bad experience. I mean, if you see the peppers burnt, maybe it's pretty obvious to throw away that batch and make a new one. Looking at the pictures here, this wasn't the first time this specific location serve burnt peppers. Literally my whole bowl was filled with burnt pepper even if I pick the peppers away, it blended in with the sauce and rice and everything just taste burnt and bad. I actually didn't even know it was burnt until I ate like half of it because the sauce first covered all of it. So I probably ate most of it since my bowl was drenched with sauce.
This is literally my worse experience with chipotle and I love chipotle but now I guess I'll have to find another place.
Very tiny store (limited seating inside), and lines can go out the door at lunchtime. So your best bet is to place an online order for pickup.
I just don't understand how they function…
I almost never come to this Chipotle because they always have a long line and they're slower than average. Last night I was literally number one on line and it still took me ten minutes to get my burrito bowl.
I asked for a bowl with taco shells on the side. The women puts taco shells into a bowl and asks me what I want. I kept repeating myself, and quipped back, "Your shells are in a bowl already, what do you want?" She finally understood and tried convincing me I should buy chips instead (but then it wouldn't be free…). If only she hadn't been chatting with her coworker, she would've heard me the first time. I stood there as I watched her level off the serving spoon of rice and beans. I have never had to do this, but I actually asked for more rice. Even when I got back and ate my bowl, there was still less food than I'm used to. She also nitpicked with the fajita veggies and put peppers and onions into my bowl slice by slice.
Salsas went a little quicker when I think who was the manager swooped in and quickly filled the rest of my order. At the cashier, the guy took his time ringing me up, even stepping out from behind the counter to make conversation before bagging my food. Luckily I just finished my workout and was feeling extra patient. Otherwise I might've walked out with no bowl.
I don't want their incompetence to be confused with them being negative, as they were pretty friendly. Unfortunately, friendliness leads to inefficiency, it's bad news in the food service industry. Chipotle, we need another store in the Flatiron area please!
