  1. Great place to get big Takoyaki balls with a few different selections. I had the Wasabi mayo and it was great. The service was fast and the octopus pieces were nice and chewy. It had also an abundance of the bonito  flakes. For 5 dollars it's worth it!

  2. craving a crepe for dinner, yes dinner! nothing wrong with eating dessert first. I ordered #1 Mojoilla crepe with chocolate ice cream that came with sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, Nutella, whip cream and a cookie stick.

there was a young lady that scooped my chocolate ice cream before the crepe was even made and left the ice cream on the scoop right on the prep counter. I thought that wasn't very sanitary … thank goodness I didn't get sick. the guy made the crepe very fast, what a pro. the crepe was thin and had a great taste. I actually like this place over the Japanese crepe store on spring at in soho. next time I'll create my own crepe and get green tea ice cream, chocolate was so good though.

  3. This is one of my favorite stalls in new world mall. Awesome dessert to finish off your meal! I get the ice cream +2 toppings + 1 syrup in a crepe cone for~$5.50 (used to be $4.95), which is quite a bargain in my opinion considering other crepe places in nyc serve crepes without the ice cream for like $8+. They have green tea ice cream, which is even a bigger bonus! I always get strawberry + banana + condense milk + green tea ice cream. Be sure to grab lots of napkins, it could get messy at the end when it starts leaking.

I think the young girl(20ish year old) makes it best in terms of it holding together, but I haven't seen her in a while. It's a little difficult to order when it's the older lady working since I don't speak chinese and she doesn't speak english. Make sure to get their stamp card if you like it, it's a free crepe after 10 crepes. My friends and I share the cards to get to 10 quicker hehe.

  4. Oh man, I'm a sucker for pretty things and japanese food so when you show me an adorable japanese crepe with green tea ice cream, yeah I'm gonna get it. Their takoyaki's alright, definitely not as good as the ones in legit japanese shops but props on the wasabi mayo creativity. The crepe was alright EXCEPT for the crepe itself. Ironic right? The filling was pretty good, green tea ice cream drizzled with condensed milk and topped with banana and mango. Probably should've gotten something else besides mango cause it wasn't in season but I'm glad all their fruits are fresh. The crepe was missing a hint of sweetness. It was kind of bland.

I can't decide what's better here takoyaki or crepes, they're on an equal level.

  5. Takoyaki and crepes, crepes and takoyaki. You would think the two don't really go together… and you'd be correct. Don't get me wrong; both food fads are great in their own right. But together, they feel disconnected. And for a place that only sells these two items, both items are surprisingly average.

When I came here on a Thursday mid-afternoon, it was pretty dead. The takoyaki was pre-made and sitting in a warmer. (Had I seen this before ordering, I wouldn't have.) The flavors were okay, but fried balls of dough with octopus really should be served just-fried. I wasn't impressed.

The crepes were a little better. Thankfully, these were made fresh in front of you, which is always cool to watch. I had the Mojoilla: your choice of ice cream flavor (I had vanilla) with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. The complete package was delicious, but then again, I've never met a crepe I didn't like.

  6. Me and my friend stopped by at Mojoilla Fresh after dinner. The only combination that looks good to me is Purple Rain because I hate bananas and I am allergic to peanut butter. I got the Purple Rain Crepe w/Red Bean icecream and my friend got the same but with Green Tea icecream.

We really enjoy our dessert and its definitely a yummy spot so make sure you stop by.

  7. We wanted to try the ice cream crepe for a long time but was always too full from our meal.  We finally had one today and my daughter loved it.  Not only it is fun to eat, it's fun watching them make it also.  We ordered the mojoilla which was nutella, strawberry and banana with your choice of ice cream.

  8. Decided to check this place out with a friend, for old time's sake. Before there was a T-swirl Crepe, a place called Mojoilla Fresh(located right in the New World Mall Food Court) was the place to get crepes in Flushing. Prices for crepes are around $5 and no more than $7. The crepes are made pretty fast, in less than a minute.  Prices have remained the same, and the taste has remained the same. I've also tried the takoyaki back then, but I'm not really a fan of those.

Anyways, Mojoilla Fresh = place that makes and sells crepes at New World Mall Food Court. That's all you need to know. Happy crepe-ing!
