  1. This midtown spot was cursed. I'm thinking Rawl breaks the curse? Great new midtown lunch alternative. VERY fresh fish and nice toppings (like potato chips!) to create your own sushi burritos. Surprisingly filling as well.

  2. I think this is a really good addition to the neighborhood, although not as good as the Sushirrito that I had in San Francisco. I had the (1) Ebisu, which is the tuna roll. The service was super quick. I think they're starting to pre make them so that the line isn't so long, but this could affect the nori long term since it's supposed to be consumed quickly to preserve the crispness (at least this is the idea with handrolls). I ordered and was literally handed the roll instantly.

I thought the Ebisu was really tasty and hit the spot. Try it out if you're in the area.

  3. When the sushi burrito first came out, I thought this place was the bomb.  But then I went to Hai Street in UrbanSpace Vanderbilt and realized it wasn't so great.

The Rawl cuts their veges thick sliced so when eating, it makes it very messy.  Everything falls out as you take a bite and I'd actually pay more if they used real avocado slices instead of a pre-made avocado guacamole.  I've tried just about everything, their salads, bowls, and burritos.  They taste good, but could use more flavor in the marination process of the fish.  A few times I got fish that had the muscle in tact and it made it very chewy.

Service has been efficient and on point.
