Buffet skeptics won't be converted, but big eaters might want to get on the light rail to Bergenline and then walk 10 minutes to El Farolito. On two recent trips, there were different prices. Once it was $13 and included a beverage, more recently it was $10.99 and I don't think included a drink (I got water.)
The chicken and vegetable soup was very good. The ribs are decent, as are the red beans. The pernil isn't super-flavorful on its own but works better with some beans or sauce. Some of the dishes like the fettucini look a bit worn out.
