I'm doing an internship in the Bronx and I'm very unfamiliar with the area. I have come to this diner once a week for the past month and I've ordered a different menu item every single time. Everything I've ordered has been SPECTACULAR. Their staff is so friendly and accommodating. This mom and pop diner puts a lot of love into their food and they treat their customers really well. Great place to come for a hearty breakfast or a healthy lunch.
THIS… This is what I think of when I think of the REAL NY. Just your typical, plain, classic dinner to come to for breakfast. No matter how busy it is the service is excellent. AND the food is great too. On top of that, the portions are just huge. it is fun to come in here and see all the locals, and different characters of NY just getting a start on their day. There is something old fashion and remensicent of the experience. They are so quick, its great! We hope to make this place a new tradition of sorts.
Great little gem in the BX. I can officially see why the lines are outside the door sometimes. Great friendly and fast service and the food was delicious. I had some of the best pancakes I ever had in my life here. They are monstrous in size and their sausages are slamming also. What I really loved about this establishment is that the employees have a great relationship with their customers. You can tell alot of the people that come here are regulars and even if you're not you're still being treated like you are a guest in someone's house. Definitely will be returning to try their lunch.
Just looking for some breakfast we stumbled across this little gem. From the outside you might say wth, but this place will be my Bronx go to for breakfast and lunch. Great food, very large portions, and the service is great. Being from the south im ecstatic to see grits and this diner nails it. Ive been here twice so far and love it.
