Chipotle Mexican Grill
“Price point is high for sure, but it's wholesome and they aren't skimpy with their quantities of sides to go in either your burrito or burrito bowl.”
“Much more spacious than the one by maiden lane.”
“I've been here about 5 times now since moving to the financial district, and it's been great 4 of the 5 times.”

I like this place! I know it's a chain and should be condemned accordingly, but heavens, it really does do its stuff well.
It's fast mexican food, exactly as you want it. And that's what you get. They have rice without cilantro (coriander) hurrah!! They also have hot sauce that is actually tasty and a great choice of almost every ingredient. Now, if they would offer tomatoes without cilantro too, I would give it 5 stars!
Much more spacious than the one by maiden lane. I definitely prefer this over that one because the line doesnt go out the door. However, it does circle around the tables which is pretty annoying for people who are sitting there and eating. Doesn't really matter though because it's packed during lunch time.
Anyhow, the staff is pretty friendly here and obviously quick so the waits are never too bad. If you come here when they first open, you'll be able to chat and just slow down but after 12- that's not even an option.
Anyhow, they make good margaritas, could be a little strong- it's a hit or miss.
Good thing they pride themselves with good and health-conscious food options because their sanitary grade is still pending.
Anyway chipotle is still chipotle and I would still imagine a ton of people coming here anyway because it's one of the few places people love and know they can't go wrong with- regardless of the grade.

Three Stars
Its been months since I have been to Chipotle. I overcame my fears and gave them another chance. The white rice was good. The chicken was overcooked and chopped into tiny pieces. The Pinto means were dried out. Everything was else was pretty standard. They keep their lemons behind the counter now.
I went to this chipotle today and I must say that I'd rather walk a few blocks down to go to the maiden lane location. I got my usual steak burrito bowl and it just didn't taste as good.
The employees were very nice and there was barely a line, so that was good.
One of the great mysteries of our time is why is this chain so popular? I pass here often and no matter the time of day it always has a line. A long one at that. Do people really love paying more than in most sit down places in the area for sub standard Mexican food? Do people think this is actual Mexican food? Any Taco truck will give you better more authentic and far less expensive food than this. Ate here once just to see what the fuss was and it was awful, from the over salty Burrito to the rude service. No better than Taco Bell in my opinion and at least TB doesnt pretend they are anything more than what Chipotle really is, a fast food joint.
This is like any other chipotle. When the sun is out, expect there to be lines, especially during lunch hours. As soon as the sun sets, there's little to no lines, except around after-work peak hours (after people get off work/get out of the gym), but those lines are not as long as the lunch lines. Towards the end of the night they give out more guacamole; so order that guac!
I think I came here when they were training some new people because the concept of assembly line did not apply here.
I came around 5pm because I had some serious Chipotle cravings. I thought this was early for dinner, but there were still 7 people in front of me and by the time I got to order (think 15 minutes later) the line was almost at the door. This was actually worth the wait because they didn't skimp, on anything. I've never had a Chipotle bowl so heavy in the city – I didn't even need to ask them to add a little more of stuff. Best part was that the girl knew how to properly wrap the tortilla on the side!
Not sure if I'd come back to this location since it took so long, but if the portions are always like this, I'd definitely be back.
Very expensive low-quality Mexican food served by tired and unresponsive employees who are dead on the inside.
