  1. Williamsburger is a pricey burger joint located in a remote part of Queens/Brooklyn 10 minute walk south from the subway stop.  The burgers run from $12 to $15, delicious but rather overpriced for the quaint size and limited fries that are included in the meal (sweet potato fries $1.50 extra).  When I spend $12 on a burger I want it to be larger than my face.

This is not the place to annihilate a burger with bare hands instead to enjoy a fine burger with silverware.  The burger consisted of a toasted bun, mild pink (medium-rare) patty, slice of lettuce, circular purple onions, and dill pickles.  The flavor was quite juicy, however I noticed an unusual amount of oil dripping from the back of the burger that soaked into the bun and made it soggy.

The item to rave here about isn't the burger, but it's the milkshake- Salted Caramel Milkshake.  I tried it influenced by the positive tips and found it to be unbelievable, worth ordering in place of the burger. I planned to take a lactose pill to eat only a 1/4 of the shake, but ended up consuming the whole thing and ran home and popped another pill.

    Salted Caramel Milkshake.  Do it.

  2. Based on internet research I thought this place would WOW me but it didn't. The burgers were OKAYYY, nothing special for $15 (kind of expensive actually). However, the milkshakes were pretty good.

  3. This review is only for the burgers

Got a jalapeño chili burger for $15. Substituted sweet potato fries instead for $1.50 extra

The Burger – large and juicy but not a lot of flavor overall. You definitely need to put extra salt on it. It was cooked perfectly though. I barely tasted the chili but the jalapeños were nice and spicy.

For a place like this, I'd have to recommend a regular  cheese or bacon cheeseburger, or the Williamsburger which is topped like the rodeo burger at  bk

Sweet Potato fries – The fries were your typical crunchy-yet-slightly-soggy type all sweet potato fry eaters know. Portion size was about a McDonald's medium. For the extra charge , there should have been a LOT more.

Service was nice and very fast though.

Overall the place is pretty pricy for the area..  good for maybe once in a while special burger occasion since there aren't any other burger places near by.

  4. GET THE PEROGIES!

    and a milkshake.

Any kind, but Cookies and Cream is a plus.

Let me rewind… Ive never visited Williamsburger; however, it is one of those places ive had bookmarked for years!  I cant believe ive been living in Sunnyside for "years", seems like only yesterday i moved here!  Ive ordered for delivery a few times, and i ALWAYS get the perogies with caramelized onions (they provide a ton which is great) and sour cream.  Once in a while i order the fricked pickles but its OK.  And for dessert…i always get a milkshake.  They have great options and ive tried the cookies and cream as well as the strawberry.

  5. I been meaning to try this place since they open two summers ago. I finally got a chance to come on a Friday afternoon for lunch.
The minute I came in the place was very cute and I love the clean not over the top tables and chairs. There is plenty of stuff on the walls that give it a rocker vibe.
The place was about half full and there was one girl working there but she was super attentive and made her rounds to all the tables.
They have many different types of beer on tab and bottles and only two wines (Chardonnay and Pino noir)
Now let's get to the burgers, they are a bit pricey $12-15 and they aren't huge.
I went with the mushroom and Gruyere burger with sweet potato fries ($1.50 extra for this). The burger was cooked perfectly and it was very juicy.
I like that it came with a toasted bun but it still
End up getting soggy about half way.
I didn't get a chance to try one of their milkshakes since I decided to have some wine instead and I don't think my body would have liked the mix.
If you are in the mood for a burger and don't mind the prices then this is a great place to come.

  6. A little bit in between a 3 and a 4 for me. As far as the burgers and appetizers went, they were pretty good.

However, we waited close to an hour to eat. A party of 7 and understandably a larger order, but while we continued to wait, 2 tables who came in after us had already eaten and left while we were still waiting on our burgers. A couple of our friends had to wolf down their food to make it to their movie because of the wait time.

Our server, however, could not have been sweeter. The boys at our table are a bit on the demanding side and she was great all around. Not recommended for large parties in that it's one server, and one cook (it seemed) and the wait time can get long. Perhaps it was because it was a Sunday?

  7. WilliamsBurger recently opened a location in Queens, on the border of Sunnyside and LIC. We stopped in for a bite.  Nicely decorated- warm and inviting.  No liquor license yet.  We opted for shakes.  Delicious!  I really enjoyed my black and white shake.  We ordered onion rings as a appetizer; fresh and crispy.  Not overbreaded.  The burgers are made of angus meat.  My only complaint is that they could have had a bit of seasoning. Also, it would be nice to have a choice of a wheat or white bun.  The bun was toasted.  On the side, came fries, romaine lettuce, and red vine tomato.  Everything tasted fresh.  Definetly walked out feeling full!

  8. Everyone at work raved about this place, so I decided to try it out.

    Salted caramel shake was awesome!

Most important to me the fries! Really good!! I recommend the parm garlic fries.  Sweet potato was good to!

The wings were alittle ehh. Soagy breading, I'm a crispy wing girl.

But my best part of lunch Boylan Black Cherry soda!!
