  1. Grabbed a quick steak sandwich at Flavors for lunch the other day. The location is brightly lit, spacious feeling (compared to other delis), and feels brand new and clean. Service is okay – they get things done, but don't expect too many smiles. Prices are par for the area.

The sandwich was okay. Nothing too fancy or bad. We'll give things another try later, maybe after I try the pasta or soups.

  2. Why all the haters?

I think their salads are greeeeaaat!

  3. Award winning sandwich?? Are you serious??? The sandwich is pretty bad… Super cold and as if it was kept overnight.. Ordered the albacore tuna sandwich… Tuna is always my favorite.. So I finished all the tuna and I feel like I am just trying to "stuff" all the bread into my body.. which I don't like it… and it's just way too much air in it..

The reason why I gave this place 3 stars is because they have other option such as pasta bar.. Unlimited toppings with a cheap price.. and a salad bar with 8 toppings in it… I am gonna return to order the salad.. And they have really unique dressing…

Urgh.. Why do I trust the sandwich? should have ordered the salad instead…

Overall, a great lunch spot in FIDI.

  4. This place is "ok". Nothing to write home about.

They are open for breakfast and lunch and I'm a main breakfast customer.

They pride themselves on being a healthy option and it's true but the food is a little bland.

For breakfast I have a large bowl of oatmeal and occasionally bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel. They only serve turkey bacon FYI.

I've had penne a la vodka for lunch and it was decent but I had to season it myself.

They have one great cashier. Jenine. She always so pleasant.

  5. I was on a quest to find the perfect salad and this place was not even a contender. Flavors, I really wanted to like you!

I ordered the Santa Fe salad. It was okay. There are so many salad spots in Fidi that there is absolutely no reason to settle for a salad that is not insanely delicious. On top of the salad being subpar. I really felt like I paid $10 for half a salad. Their portions are so small.

  6. They make sandwiches the way I like them–with lots of greens and veggies instead of just meat and bread.

  7. I tried the falafel panini… I regret it.

Their turkey chili is okay though.

  8. Thought I'd pick up some breakfast from this place and then take it to work. Placed my order and waited and waited. This was my first time at this place, so I couldn't tell among all the chaos if that's just how they normally are. Apparently the guy forgot about me. If I didn't speak up, I would've kept waiting forever.

That annoyance aside, this was by far the worst sausage, egg, and cheese wrap of my life! I didn't think it was possible to screw up such a simple staple. The egg was overcooked and dry. The sausage patty was some kind of bland piece of not sure what with absolutely no flavor. The cheese… just two slices of yellow american cheese, which didn't even melt. And the wrap was very reminiscent of chewing on paper as a kid.
