  1. We ordered the Imperial Bing (which is the Peking duck one). You can choose soft vs. crispy and we ordered it crispy, but either they gave us the soft version or the crispy is not remotely crispy… Not very much duck inside and what little there was was mostly skin and fat… there was one part where I could still see some feathery nubs or something so that freaked me out. I definitely understand that Peking duck generally does have lots of skin and fat and is somewhat expensive, but I would rather have paid twice as much and gotten some of the good, meaty parts than what we had. I liked the apple and cucumber slaw part.

As an aside, I think it's funny / sad that they have to use French / Spanish words of "crepe" and "burrito" to describe it.

  2. Great new place with pretty good Beijing jianbing. The monthly special bing is a good twist to the traditional jianbing. The crepe is soft and the way I remember it to be, the fillings and sauce are pretty good.

Overall very nice addition, and doing a decent job at recreating that Beijing street food taste.

  3. The Jian Bing itself was not bad. I order the imperial Bing with Peking duck. The textures worked well with the wonton crunch and crispy crepe also had a nice crunch. The duck was fatty and flavorful. Hoisin sauce meshed well with the thin layer of egg. Price is pretty steep at almost $10. The only real downfall was that the Peking duck had a couple of sharp bones and almost got stuck in my throat.
