  1. When I was little and lived in NJ, my family would come here all the time. We moved back to hawaii, but now every time we visit NJ, we come here for dinner. Brings back great memories 🙂 the last time my family and I were here was about 6 years ago.. And now we are visiting before I go to Philly for my graduation, and we had to come back. When we walked in, the owner (we found out his name is Jack) remembered my dad!!!! Seriously, after about 6 years, he remembered my family! I was really impressed!

For 4 of us, it came out to about $83. The sushi was great here like I remembered, there were fresh oysters and clams, shrimp, and they kept the food stocked.

Other than the sushi, the crab, sirloin steak and Peking duck (yes! They have Peking duck in the buns made to order!) were also all very good. For dessert, they also have fruit, some tiramisu and other desserts, and ice cream flavors you can scoop out and put in a bowl or cone.

Overall, their food is good and I would definitely recommend this place! But the fact the owner remembered us and their Peking duck tasted authentic really makes this place stand out! I hope this place continues to succeed after all these years.

  2. As far as Chinese buffets go, this is one of the better ones I'd been to. It's nice when you see the employees also eating from the buffet. I was impressed by the amount of food they had. They were shucking fresh oysters and clams as well. Cooked clams, crab legs, fried blue claw crabs, plenty of shrimp. They also had sirloin steak, beef ribs, sushi. Plenty of salads and desserts as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

  3. Fairly priced at $10.50 per person with a soft drink. Buffet has a decent selection of Chinese food with a few American touches.  Dessert selection is better than most.  Staff is friendly and efficient. Decor is nothing special.  Certainly OK for a lunch with the guys at the office.  I would not bring my wife; buffets are not her thing. If you never go here you are not missing anything special.

  4. Pretty good for a buffet place. They have lots of seafood and shell fish on the buffet. I enjoyed the chicken cordon blue. Decent sushi though I am not big on sushi. I came in with a party and we used their back room. The staff was friendly and attentive. I have some close friends that come here all the time and like it very much. I will probably come back again.

  5. The Story: So Apparently my aunt and uncle likes go check out buffets. I went this weekend with them along with my cousins. "DIE-NASTY" we say!

Food: I am not impressed. The only thing I really ate was the black bean clams and desserts. I dont like the base sauce they use for majority of the Chinese dishes, the "american breakfast" was poorly made and sushi tasted sour to me.

Price: $10 for lunch is cheap. I can't complain there.

    Decor: Spacey buffet room.

    Service: It was average.

Parking & Finding the Place: Has own parking. Easy to find.

Extra: yeah I'm not too impressed hence the pretty short review…

  6. Considering it is a buffet and you expect buffet-standard quality, it was still only alright. Went for lunch (cheap!! ~$11) and there was a pretty interesting selection–sushi, American breakfast foods made poorly, Chinese takeout, raw seafood, etc. I'd consider myself pretty adventurous with food, but I also care about food sanitation so I just stuck with cooked Chinese food and nothing raw. Everything was just okay–decent clams with black bean sauce and spareribs and hot & sour soup. Good tiramisu but horrible green tea ice cream!

Definitely better options available for buffet and felt like wasted calories after the meal. The space is really nice though, super high ceilings and lots of room for seating and moving around. But I'd stick to paying a bit more and getting good quality at Minado or something.
