Chipotle is unauthentic fast food that we all love. It's filling, tasty, affordable, fast, and nowhere near as bad as other options around Union.
I always get the same thing- a vegetarian burrito bowl with a lot of brown rice, half black half pinto beans, onions and peppers, pico de gallo, corn, sour cream and guacamole (which is free for a veggie bowl!). It's always great and consistent.
The reason for the minus one star is because my last experience annoyed me. One of the cashiers here was ridiculously rude. There was a woman in front of me who asked for "a whole lotta rice", and got three huge scoops or rice, but when I said "Can I please have extra brown rice, since it's a veggie bowl?" She turned to her coworker who was cooking and mocked me "extra brown rice" and barely put a scoop. I gave her a face and said half and half beans and she AGAIN turned to the same coworker and laughed. She barely put any beans in it. She was clearly making fun of my order. I work in customer service too, I know how annoying and weird customers can be, but I come here very often and get the exact same thing and am always very polite. I would've said something, but I was in a rush to go to a party.
RUDE employee! If I see her again and she does the same thing, I will be sure to get her name and update my review.
On the other end, there was a very tall guy last week who was the worlds jolliest Chipotle worker I'ver ever met. More of him, less of her.
Chipotle is chipotle. They are all the same, all over. I will spare you the details on the food since you already know exactly what they have and how it tastes, so this review is about everything else.
This location has a heavy door. I am a relatively strong man with decent upper body strength, and even I have trouble opening these giant doors. It makes me wonder how many times a potential customer has come to the doors, couldn't pull them open, and then just left?
The place is always clean, as a good fast food joint should be.
Employees seem a bit lifeless, but I would probably be too if I had to assemble the same burrito 1000 times per day. Pricing is expensive for fast food, and I have a hard time seeing how these guys get any business with some other great Mexican food joints in the area like Dos Toros, Dorado Tacos (literally next door), and Tortaria on the corner.
I would probably never come here, but alas, this location sends out amazing coupons several times a year to neighborhood residents. Most of the time they are a buy-one-get-one burrito deals, but sometimes they are straight up FREE burritos. I recently redeemed a free burrito and got it as a "quesarito" which is normally extra, but covered under the coupon.

What is not to love? Wish they would serve some desserts tho. I get every single topping every single time. Tryna beat the system.
