The two front doors are a pain to get through but the staff is very nice here. It's a very cute coffee shop on main street in Woodmere. I had a slice of NY cheesecake here, the slice was nothing special but I guess the shop is more known for its breakfasts and sandwiches. I would definitely come back and try something else.
I like this place but I have one gripe with it at the same time. It's one of those diner type places that call themselves a coffee shop. Since I'm a big coffee nut I don't like it when a place calls themselves a coffee shop but only serves basic diner coffee. At this point you are a diner, you could call yourself a cafe, but calling yourself a coffee shop is stretching it.
Despite the miss-used shop labeling, it's a decent place. The atmosphere is sort of divey but cozy. The coffee is classic diner type coffee but it's good. Even though I'm a crazy connoisseur I also enjoy your classic cup of diner type coffee. I used to eat the french fries with mozzarella cheese when I came here but I've relinquished those to a special treat item since trying to diet so I'll have to pick something else off the menu if I end up coming here often. The mozzarella cheese fries are always good when I get them.
This is one of three diner types I've been too around the five towns area.
