Bluestone Lane

  1. One of the best iced coffees I've had in while! I will definitely continue to come to Bluestone for coffee. This location is very small so it gets pretty jam packed inside but they move very quickly. Staff is very friendly. I got an iced coffee, which you put the milk and sugar in yourself, (no Starbz status here). I love that they carry almond milk #bonus. I also got an Avocado Mash, which they are famous for. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. But the chili flakes do add a bit of a kick to it, so if that's not your kind of thing, make sure you ask them not to add it to your toast.

Again, I really enjoyed this place. All good things. Will be back very soon!

  2. A colleague and I came by for coffee this afternoon. Given the sunny sky and the warm winter temperature, I opted for a small cold brew. And upon taking my first sip, I realized that it was among the best I have had!

  3. Walked into this place by pure chance, as was staying just accross the road.

Being from Melbourne (At the risk of sounding a bit Cliche' here) I'm always on the hunt for a good coffee. Walk into this cute little establishment & was transported right back home…

My usuals were on the menu, great coffee & avocado smash on toast – althought the serving was small, was yummy. Happy I found this place

  4. I work right near Blulestone Lane across from Bryant Park, and people in my office love this place. As a non-coffee drinker, I can't say much about the item that they are best known for, but I have tried the Matcha Latte and granola breakfast cup and wasn't impressed.

There was a lack of balance between the natural bitterness of matcha and sweetness of the milk. The Matcha Latte was way too sweet and didn't have much matcha flavor at all. I was more or less indifferent about the BSL Granola Breakfast Cup – just your standard to-go breakfast with Greek yogurt topped with some berries and granola.

Maybe Bluestone Lane's coffee is outstanding, so if you are a coffee lover, BSL might be worth trying, but not really for other stuff.

  5. Location: This Bluestone Lane is serving all those building-person. It is close to BOA building along with other pretty ones. They have limited seating inside but plenty outside.
I was there very late and looking for a coffee. The person who worked there looked really exhausted, making me feel guity when I was unable to decide which coffee I wanted.

I eventually, went for a Cold Brew. They gave me pretty fast and I found out that they had all whole milk, soy milk, almond milk, etc.

Not bad. Average. Basic quality is all I can comment on.

If you want a quick sip of coffee around AoA, this place seems legit.

  6. What I got: Piccolo

Would I go back?: Meh wasn't bad but nothing to write home about the atmosphere isn't particularly inviting and the coffees good but not worth a trip

Story: met a friend here on a Sunday morning for coffee wish I would've gone to one of the other locations as the limited seating and quietness of this area felt a little weird. Otherwise coffee and service are good just maybe try one of the other locations first if you are looking to sit down and enjoy a cup of Joe with atmosphere

  7. New coffee shop on 43rd in the grace plaza..its a super small aussie cafe

not bad but wasnt a huge fan of their iced coffee and its pretty pricey

PLUS almond milk on milk counter for your coffee

NOTE: all walls are windows so perfect for ppl watching if you can find a seat on the maybe 6 -8 seat counter

  8. I'm being generous and giving this place 3 stars for now because I enjoyed their full location downtown before. I came here around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to get some coffee and a late lunch. We went to order some avocado toast and were told that they stopped serving food at 4pm and we had just got there then (there's no sign mentioning this anywhere so not sure how people would be aware of that). We asked if they could make an exception and she said she normally would but had just thrown out all the leftover supplies so couldn't make anything.

Luckily, the 6th Ave Food Festival was going on right there so we figured we'd just go grab lunch over there but get some iced coffee from here. We ordered the Aussie Iced Coffee which is iced coffee with a scoop of ice cream in it. It sounded amazing so I was pretty excited for it, but after tasting it was very disappointed. The ice cream didn't lend any sweetness to the strong coffee at all, and even when I tasted it just by itself it wasn't sweet. I had to add sweetener myself. I'm not sure if this is some weird kind of unsweetened ice cream or if the coffee just overpowered it..? Either way, this was a disappointing experience all around.

I'll probably come back for regular iced coffee and to finally get some avocado toast because, like I said, I do like their other location. But I will definitely make sure to get there before 4pm! lol
