  1. This place is a hot mess.  Came here on a Saturday night and this place was packed to the brim.  Can't even imagine what would happen if they had an emergency, but it's a fire hazard for sure.

The music was pretty good, but there's no room in there to move at all.  You literally have to squeeze your way through everyone to get anywhere. The bathrooms are disgusting and there's always a long line.

A collection of empty glasses and beer bottles get built up on the ledge by the entrance and it just constantly gets knocked over by drunk patrons.  Employees should consistently pick these up before someone injures themselves on the broken glass.

  2. Walking into here was like walking into a living nightmare. I came here to meet some friends watching the game and the place was packed ass to elbow with fratty college types. You literally couldn't move around in this bar. I felt like I traveled back in time to when I was in college and it was not pleasant. I got a lot of stares because as a 31 year old woman who looked put together as I had just come from work, I stuck out. I did have the pleasure of seeing a bachelorette party, very drunk, varying in ages from 25-65.

This is probably the type of bar you'd go to if you are between the ages of 19-23 and looking to get annihilated. There is beer pong and flip cup and lots and lots of drunk people.

  3. THEY PLAYED "SHAKE IT OFF" and I got to watch a girl shake it right into a table and fall on the floor. I like that they had no cover. The drink I had was horrendous…they had no Patron and  whatever they substituted for it tasted weird. The music was all around bad and we stayed 15 minutes tops. I really felt like I was in Long Island here. It was that kinda crowd. Maybe it was an off Saturday night?

  4. Very fun vibe. Crowded on an early Saturday evening 6:30PM or so. We came here with some out of towners Floridians to be exact, who were happy we included this place on our spot. Good music with a pretty fun mix some new school, some old school Hip Hop, EDM, and top 40s. I didn't have any drinks other than a fireball shot that was provided to me by a friend so I cannot speak to their drink quality only speaking on vibe and atmosphere here.

  5. A solid sports bar with the usual kind of crowd which obviously will get progressively rowdy depending on a) is there an actual sporting event, b) are you standing/seated/hovering by the beer pong table, c) are you there with a TON of people and in fact YOU are the rowdy crowd?

Food was good, beer selection solid and be prepared to fight your way to the bar and for the waitresses attention as the evening progresses. Day drinking here is solid since it's a) daytime and b) not as crowded.

  6. The reviews for this place are not that great but my BF and I had a wonderful time when we were here. I mean they offer an all day happy hour on drinks until 8pm! Score. So we both ordered a round a drinks and then decided to grab an order of fries and onion rings. Put all those together along with some great people watching and you are in for a treat.  The bartender was very friendly and the people that were there at around 2pm on a Friday after noon appeared to be regulars. Again I am not sure how the bar is at night, but on a random Friday afternoon, if you are in the area, stop by and grab and grab a drink or two. You won't regret it.

  7. Honestly, I don't have much to say, but this is just a typical college bar where everyone crowds around the bar and you just have to fight your way to grab the attention of the bartender to order drinks on weekend nights.

  8. I always catch myself at Hair of the Dog whenever I'm in LES. It's not the best bar around but I really like their playlist. With a few drinks in and an awesome playlist, this place can have you feeling some type of way.

Food is average. Typical bar food although their onion rings are ginormous and yummy.

If you want to feel young, watch a game, stuff your face in greasy food, get drunk, or dance the night away Hair of the Dog is the place to be!
