As you can tell from my pictures, I had the Fried Rice and Fried Chicken and my BF had the Fried Chicken and Lo Mein. 1st : The fried chicken is tasty! Not bland like most(maybe all) fried chicken joints. This one is ACTUALLY seasoned. 2nd :The fried rice is more like West Indian style rice. Which is very flavorful since they add cabbage, carrots and green onions. YUMMY! And 3rd: The lo Mein was also West Indian Style Lo Mein (less soy sauce) with the same veggies as the rice. OK, as for the staff…they were very pleasant and cool peoples! Coming back next time and bringing some friends so they can try it out too!
Darbars is some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Please don't say KFC to me, you will get smacked. The chicken from Darbars is crispy, juicy, and just so flavorful. Everything is good here: the fried rice, lo mein, burgers, beef ribs, chicken sandwich, wings. Their food is quality food and it's made to order. You should definitely call ahead or you're gonna be in for a wait. Everyone I recommended Darbars to loved it. I have a friend in Maryland who tried it once when he was in NY and he's still talking about it. I don't know how they do it. They keep expanding their menu and the food is always up to par. Highly recommended!
