Jimbo's. It's a hamburger place, that tastes like they're using frozen patties. Nothing terrible, but nothing superb. Good portions for the price. Walking distance from Harlem Hospital.
We had a place called Jimbo's (which wasn't part of this chain) where I went to University in Pennsylvania. Nothing has come close to the awesomeness of that Jimbo's…until I found this chain!!! PERFECTION when you're drunk and feeling like a phat fatty!!! EAT IT ALL!!!!!!!!!
Just really good burgers and fries. The service is also good. Glad it's up the block from me.
They also have breakfast items. Looked yummy.
The place was mostly full with patrons when I wandered in on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded, but a good amount of people.
If you are in the neighborhood, definitely try it without thinking twice!
First time I experienced Jimbos was a take out order. I placed an order for a gyro. BEST GYRO I HAVE HAD IN Harlem. They were quick in making my food and the presentation was awesome.
Second time I visited was for a dine experience. Tables were clean and waitress was friendly. This time I ordered a cheeseburger with LOTS of toppings. Burger was greasy and good!!! This place has a dinner feel. Prices are extremely affordable and the menu is rather large. AND THEY SERVE. BREAKFAST ALL DAY. This is a spot in Harlem if you need a quick bite for a great price. And the bathrooms are extremely clean.
Just grabbed a burger and fries to-go from Jimbo's and let me tell you that this was probably one of the best burgers i have had in a long time. The fries were great, but nothing special. I haven't dined in but if im in the area again, i definitely will.
the place was clean and wasn't overly crowded.
