  1. Glad to have this in the neighborhood, and right by the train station is ideal for a quick snack before heading out or heading back home. There is a lot of seating stretched-out between two long expanses of windows with views of the subway station Oculus on one side and Fulton Street on the other. And there are a lot of employees to make sure your food gets prepared quickly and also to keep the place consistently cleaned (since tourists just leave their trash on the table). I ordered my favorite things–Shackago Dog & Chicken Shack & Raspberry Limeade–and could not have been happier. Everything and everyone was great, and I will definitely be back soon… As an aside, I hate their fries.

  2. Another week, another great new Shake Shack location, just a few blocks from another one.

This one is in The Fulton Center, on the second floor, with a nice view overlooking the Oculus and the commuters in the Financial District.

The major thing setting this one apart from the others is that they will be the first other than Grand Central and JFK to order the elusive and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Get here from 7 AM – 11 AM for a chance to try these.

In addition, the always excellent location specific concretes might be the best of all here, with not one but two collaborations with local bakeries. The "Cold Fashioned" is a vanilla custard with Doughnut Plant old fashioned glaze cake doughnuts, salted caramel sauce and banana, and the "Choculus" is a vanilla custard with Baked chocolate peanut butter crispy bar and marshmallow sauce. They also have the "FiDi Fudge" which is a chocolate custard, fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, cocoa and malt powder. All are as amazing as they sound.

This is a great option for a sandwich before you hop on the train for your morning commute, or dessert in an otherwise ice cream-starved neighborhood. No matter what, it will thrive like the other 96 locations around the world.
