Well I guess I was just lucky for missing rush hour. There was no wait at all. It's like any other Chipotle franchise. The workers are friendly and the food is good.
I just don't like how their entrance is made. I understand that it makes it convenient for wheelchairs but there is only one door and you MUST walk up and down on that ramp. That becomes very inconvenient when there's many people going in and out at once. The ramp doesn't have the capacity for such crowd.
What can I say? This is your average fast food joint. My friends made me try Chipotle to see what the rave is about.
I ordered the chicken burrito bowl and it was nothing special. It tasted like a regular burrito in the form of a bowl. The lettuce and tomatoes did taste fresh though. The meat was a little questionable since like all buffet style restaurants, I don't know how long it had been sitting out. All in all, I would not go out of my way to pay for this again.
After being hailed on a freezing cold Monday night, I decided to eat away all my sadness at chipotle. This Brooklyn location does not disappoint! The lines move very fast here, their ingredients are always in stock, they do not overcharge to double up on ingredients either. Each meat that I have tried here is tasty, juicy, flavorful, well seasoned and is not too greasy. if you do order a dish with meat they will charge you 2 bucks extra for guacamole, but if you opt for a veggie item they don't charge for it ;]. I like how they also can make any item spicy [they also have tabasco sauce in the condiments section, major win!]. That section is always organized and fully stocked with 0 issues. There is plenty of seating if you decide not to take yours to go, and all the tables are cleaned with a lot of staff working at all times to keep the place tidy. On average I spend 10 for veggie items or 13 for meat items, which is a bit pricy but the portions are so large that you probably will have a lot left over. The staff is very friendly, they always smile and always have gloves on, believe me I've seen other locations in the city that didn't have employees wearing gloves. They accept cash or debit cards/credit cards, but don't accept $100 bills. The chips and salsa are fresh, never stale and generous in portion, less than 2 bucks which is awesome. I love how this location has plenty of tequila and drink options if you are looking for a buzz, the drinks are a bit pricy but they are really strong, so one will get the job done lol.
