  1. Admittedly only went to Mulan East because the X-Mas wait for Han Dynasty was 3 hours. Needless to say I'm happy we had to go with our second choice. The food was absolutely delicious and the service impeccable. My wife and I shared the Chicken in Hot Chili Sauce, Dan Dan Noodles and General Tso's shrimp all were top notch. We WILL be back!

  2. Yeah well… It was not good. I ordered the Cured Pork with Rice cake and it came out cold and unnaturally salty. Then came the baby bok choy with garlic, and it was overwhelmingly oily and filled with msg. Not really thinking fully through I ordered a Hot and Sour soup to top it off. To be honest, it tasted like water. I wasn't happy and the food was not nearly anything that I expected nor even appreciated. I would rate it worse, but the service was relatively nice and the food, as bad as I think it was, it couldn't have been that bad. I have to mention though that I did feel sick after, but I think that might have been the MSG in the veggies. Not the best I've tried here, but feel free to try it yourself. Maybe I just ordered wrong? All in all it wasn't super authentic and exciting.

  3. BEST Chinese I have had so far during my stay in NYC. The Wonton Soup, Orange Chicken, Chow Fun, Beef and Broccoli, and Fried Rice is delicious. The service is quick and very friendly as well. I'm already craving this spot again just by typing these words and remembering the deliciousness of all the stuff my husband and I have tried thus far at this place. So much yum.

  4. Got pickup thru Eat24. Honestly the concept of "kale fried brown rice" is sad for someone who is from China but I must admit that it was actually quite delicious. Bite sized veggies had good texture, and the rice was nicely seasoned so I didn't have to use the little packets of mustard, soy sauce and "duck sauce." Service was extremely friendly and I'd love to go back to try the actual Chinese food.

  5. Randomly went to this place because we were craving Szechuan and Han Dynasty had a 3 hour wait down the block. While it doesn't measure up to Han Dynasty, it certainly was extremely good and better than most Szechuan places in town.

I had some of the scallion pancakes, shrimp dumplings, ma po tofu, Dan Dan noodles, and crispy spicy chicken. Everything was delicious. In particular, I'd highly recommend the scallion pancakes with beef and the crispy spicy chicken dish. The ma po tofu lacked the peppercorn flavoring in other ma po tofus I've had but it was very spicy and the tofu melts in your mouth with its silkiness just as it is suppose to.

The service here was quite good and they have a great bar selection. The prices are also extremely reasonable and they have plenty of seats. They weren't very busy on a Friday night during peak time so if you can't get in somewhere else and just want to sit down and eat delicious Chinese food, this is your best bet.
