  1. Got their food by delivery. Ordered the Eddie luv smoothie and fried banana caramel cheesecake. Both yummy.

The delivery guy? Unprofessional. Didn't acknowledge my thank you & pretty much ignored me. Too busy texting on his phone. SERIOUSLY???

Not a good look and deters me from ordering from this location. The one by union square has MUCH better delivery service. Just sayin.

  2. This is the first time I gave a place 1 star. I tried this place for a quick and cheap burger. What I got was definitely what I was looking for — an almost raw burger with piss poor ingredients. My tomato was powdery, my lettuce was wilted and floppy.

The worst part of my meal was the raw hamburger meat on my bun and around my wrapper. I got this meal take out, and didn't notice it until I got home. I didn't even bother to eat it after I came across the raw meat.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Blue 9 burger. They have some interesting gimmicks like a special sauce, but its not worth the possible food poisoning.

  3. For the price this place isn't so bad but at the same time the burger was pretty small and the meat was really thin.  We were just walking by and like always, im going to try a burger spot.  I doubt id be back but if youre crazing a cheap burger thats not fast food then give it a shot and see for yourself.

  4. Bf likes the blue 9 burger + firecracker sauce. Fries are always soggy, i think it's their style. Good place to get good burger delivered at pretty cheap price.

  5. A Seamless only review, but I probably order from here once a week (maybe 2-3 times a month total).  The burgers and fries are delivered hot (I live maybe 15 blocks away from this location).  Prices can't be beat (especially when you consider that their regular burger is two patties), and a small order of fries satisfies my cravings.  Great sweet potato fries.  Roommate recently ordered a "make your own salad" which was $7 and came in a good sized bowl with plenty of toppings/protein.  Definitely recommend!

  6. A burger very similar to that of Shake Shack – an old-school, fast-food burger, grease and all. If you're not looking for that, then don't come to Blue 9. I enjoyed my burger here, even though the ketchup was given out as packets of Hunts. Wow. BUT, the spicy mango sauce more than made up for that. The fries were good but stubby – I hate stubby fries. A wide variety of shakes and smoothies are available – I didn't have one, but they looked good.
Not as good as Bareburger, but not the same category, so maybe unfair comparison. Similar to Shake Shack – I think I still like Shake Shack burgers better, but not by too much. Shake Shack beats Blue 9 in the hot dog category, though.

  7. This is a great little value burger joint on the upper east side.  The burger was small but freshly cooked and the fries were quite tasty.  The fries reminded me of Five Guys.  The Oreo shake was excellent.  A whole meal for $10.75.  Not bad!

  8. The ultimate guilty pleasure delivery: cheeseburger, fries, mint chocolate chip shake. The greasy little burger is always perfect, and fries, though slightly soggy by the time they arrive, are still great, and the shake is pure, minty chocolatey-chip deliciousness. For those days when nothing but a cheeseburger will do, Blue 9 is my delivery go-to.
