  1. I don't write negative reviews to chastise,  I do it,  with the hope that things might get better and improve.
The staff here simply was not on point and were all running around, bumping into each other, with the number one concern seemingly ignored…the customer.

My egg sandwich on croissant with bacon, came without the bacon, but I finished it before I ever caught her attention to tell her about it.

Same with no coffee and OJ for wifey's egg platter.  No one ever followed up on that.

Her simple order arrived on a small round plate and wasn't comparable to everyone else's portions on their bananna boat plates.

Request for light butter on the toast, when it came slathered. Another fail.

Clearing the plates, while wifey was finishing her piece of toast, added to the perplexing question of "What are the priorities here?"

No one followed up a single time, to ask us if we need anything else, how the food was, or do you need the check.

I should've probably did what the local guy did, and just yell out across the room.  "I'll take the check!"   that got a response.

I'm going to give these guys another chance, and will update at that time.

  2. I love breakfast food and have been wanting to try out Bath Beach Diner for quite a while now since it's like 5 mins walking distance from my house. I got here at around 9AM and there were already quite a few people eating inside. I really like the decor since it gives off a really cozy and warm feeling. They were playing Christmas music which I though was a nice touch to the Christmas decorations around the diner. The server/cashiers were all really nice. Here's what I got:

Corned beef hash- I usually love corned beef hash but I was really disappointed in the one I got here. I know it's a salty dish and I love salty food but it was just way too excessive here…There's usually a really distinct kind of meaty saltiness that you can taste but here all I tasted was salt…Also I prefer my hash to be dryer but here it's more moist/mushy which I didn't like.
Eggs benedict- The hollandaise sauce was good and the English muffin soaked up all of the sauce and the yolk from the poached egg. I didn't really like the ham though because it was really salty and didn't seem to complement the eggs benedict.

Overall, the food here isn't stellar nor is it cheap. I ended up paying $14+ for my eggs benedict and hash. I'll definitely try the other diners in the area to see if they're better.
