It's unbelievable how cheap the food is here. You can get an entire meal for $4.95!!!!!! That includes rice, steamed veggies and the meat special for that day. Their tea is also very delicious. I tried the passion fruit and it was to die for. My only issue is that the chef (who sometimes assets at the cash register) is soooooo mean. He's also mean muggin me like I'm interrupting him from doing something when I walk in. Other than that, food is delish!
It's true, they do make a really good mango bubble tea here.
Not a bad option for a lunch stop – it's about the same price as most, but generally comes out to be more, because who can resist adding bubble tea? I found it a little sweet, but for me, that's just fine.
On to the orange chicken – A+ stuff. You could really tell that it's freshly cooked, and not just because it took forever to come out; you could honestly taste the difference in freshness.
On the other hand, the rice felt like it had been sitting out for a while, and the wonton soup was, at its highest point, mediocre.
So come for the main dish, stay for the bubble tea, pass on the rest – and make sure to set aside enough time!
