I ordered take out from here and I was happy i did. I tried the Crispy wontons, shrimp dumplings and Pan-Fried Rice Noodles. All very very delicious. I must say my favorite though were the wontons and dumplings. I can't wait to go back and actually sit down and try their soup dumplings.
Dim sum at night? Don't you dare! But we did.
Coming here with a co-worker and a couple of friends on a Monday after work, we (almost) had the place to ourselves. We each started out with a bottle of Tsingtao. My co-worker (Chinese, and familiar with the dishes) did the ordering, and while I can't tell you what we had, I can tell you it was good. My co-worker also had few complaints.
I'm a fan.
Tasty dim sum, good location if you're in Billyburg, good tea, no alcohol license as of Dec 2015 and priced at a slight premium to what you typically pay at your go to spot in Chinatown if you have one. Who are we kidding….what you lose in authenticity, you win in cleanliness and ease of process.
The setup is not conducive to a large group so leave the stragglers at home. In general, this place does a decent job. Since I'm not aware of other dim sum options in the area, I'll definitely be back.
