Excellent management and clean restrooms. That is what is unique about this Chipotle. I also appreciate they have an upstairs seating area. During a busy weekday lunch rush, the upstairs seating can accommodate more customers than the average spot.
The drink refills are downstairs and they have two restrooms – one up and one down. I ordered my usual – pork bowl, never tortilla always guac. Pete had a chicken bowl. The steak is usually excellent if you've never had it, definitely try it.
I appreciate the cleanliness of this Chipotle for sure.
I was craving for Chipotle while I was in NYC last Saturday. I seriously thought that all Chipotles would be as good as the ones in Seattle. Big fat NO!
The two ladies who helped me and my friend were very rude to us. The food was cold. I got a steak burrito bowl, and the steak was chewy.
It was in the late afternoon and there were not a lot of customers. I assume that they must had had a hell of a day to justify for their bad service and cold food.
Came in at 12:30pm for lunch and despite a long line, the all stars here kicked ass and served me up in no time. Faster than McDonalds I'd say. Great service, clean and nice dining room, friendly staff, and fresh delicious food. Perfect lunch before work, thanks guys!
I tend to like this Chipotle location since its very close to my office…convenience is key for fast food. The staff is really great…always smiling, and they work hard to keep the restaurant very clean.
I've only had one bad batch of chicken in the last three years (too fatty), but otherwise, the burritos are fresh and yummy, the chips are always crisp and salty, and the beer is always well-stocked.
Delicious? Cheap? Across from the office on a nasty, rainy day? CHECK.
Came here yesterday and ordered their standard grilled chicken burrito. It was yummy, filling and densely packed with chunks of seasoned/marinated grilled chicken, cilantro white rice, dark leafy lettuce (*glares at an imaginary pile of nasty-licious un-nutritious iceberg lettuce), sour cream and a Mount Vesuvius worthy pile of shredded cheesy cheese.
I don't eat at Chipotle much because I think that eating burritos like candy would result in my having to purchase a new wardrobe (yeah I could get a burrito bowl and look for healthy alternatives here…but yah, no – if I'm giving Chipotle my money then I'm going in HARD), but when I do, I really appreciate their consistency.
This location is large, well-lit, has plenty of seating for groups of all sizes and the folks at the ordering counter were friendly and efficient. I would definitely return if in the neighborhood.
I used to think that all Chipotles would automatically deserve a minimum of 4-stars basically just for being Chipotle, but that is no longer after this recent visit. This particular Chipotle branch skimps on the portions (I actually finished everything in one sitting) and their food doesn't taste as fresh, but they're still good at getting you in and out quickly and they have a lot of seating available.
I came in during lunchtime and saw the usual long line, but proceeded right in anyway since I know they have this formula down for getting customers in and out quickly. Ordered myself two chicken burrito bowls and was on my way out. Normally, when I'm finished adding in all of my ingredients, that thing is stacked so high that the person behind the counter usually needs to give the food a gentle squish with the lid in order to keep it all down. Not the case here though. I took it back to my desk and it wasn't even hot (I'm only an 8 minute walk away). What on earth?? Why would you serve un-warmed rice, beans and chicken??
So something that's kind of expected is consistency, Chipotle. You can't give me great food at ginormously large portions for less than $10 at 9/10 other Chipotles and then skimp me here. There's a standard you've set and going down is not an option.
Definitely going to avoid this Chipotle location next time. Going to continue with the 23rd Street branch (close to Lexington Ave) instead next time. Thankfully, they have Chipotles just-about everywhere and it looks like they're expanding.
I've been to so many Chipotle restaurants but why will this be only the second one I write about? It's just by chance I like that there is ample amount of tables with seating for dining even when it gets packed. The kitchen, ordering station and cashier stand are smaller than the others I have been to. Other Chipotle restaurants will have this reversed, a bigger food service area and smaller seating.
Another perk about this location is that it is open later than most businesses in the area. While neighboring business like Cozi and Guy & Gallard have lights out and staff cleaning up, the line (constant 10-12 people) on this evening around 9:30pm at this Chipotle is still being served, even though they close around 10pm.
—As I finished my order, I noticed that you can order online
—Food is still very good
—Izze drinks available like most or all Chipotle locations
—Beers and Margaritas
—I actually thought walking up to the second level would have extra dining space but there are just bathrooms on the upper level just like on the first level.
—Nothing more to describe for it's like the other chains, fresh cooked meat and spices in the air, gross but so good
Good stuff when you need a comfort food type meal. Can only do this once in a while as your waistline will not be to happy, nor will the circumference of your ass!
I gotta admit, the burrito bowl is mighty tasty! Grilled chicken, pinto beans, shredded cheese, guacamole, salsa and lettuce on a bed of rice. I wolfed it down and felt like a total fattie when I was done. Good thing I had that Diet Coke to balance things out!
Basic looking Chipotle with the high tables and spacious. Not crowded at all but a decent amount of people eating. You can also order online and pickup is here. Not sure if many people even know this location exists.
